Better late than never, I suppose. Yes, any 18650 will work nicely. It's all in the name: 18 = 18mm diameter, 65 = 65mm length, and 0 = circular.

The battery you mention is a hybrid. I'm not very well educated concerning their makeup and functional safety as the google results I gathered about them a while back were about as clear as mud to me. I'm assuming they're a blend of LiMn and Li-ion. Hence, hybrid. *shrug* Most would advise against the use of Li-ion batteries, but that is mostly superstitious fear mongering. Go with whatever suits you... both battery and mod protection circuitry will take care of the rest.

On the charger front, I've had a TrustFire Tr-001 for well over a year now and it has done wonders keeping my batteries alive. I would fathom that, much like any other battery, the slower the charge current, the longer life you shall get out of your battery. Bear in mind as well that any form of Li-ion benefits greatly from the avoidance of full discharge. The higher you maintain it, the longer it shall last: Prolong Li-ion

Also, check out this link on battery quality. Unless I mistake the chart, Efest batteries edge out the well renowned AW IMR's for about half the price:
