First off, genius! So I have a just over one week old torpedo tank and was just figuring out how to sell it. This would give it new life. So I just tried it and I am getting a bit of leaking. Using a IKV I06 as well. I have the orange O rings. Anyone have any tips on what O ring size I should be looking for?

9mm x 12mm in the red food grade orings works well vocr

Its just a 306 (or in the specific case a IKV IO6). If you like the 306 on the regular battery (or LR 306), this is just adding a tank to it :). The IKV IO6 you can buy in multiple ohm ratings as well.

I used the iken i06 because I like them vocr, you can use any 306 as long as the bottom hole and o-ring is correct on your tank set up, or you could use a sleeve like Emonty suggest but I dont recommend that, I like using only one sleeve, you can buy Delrin sleeve at Mcmaster-carr. Give it some time if you dont want to make your own I'm sure some vendors will be having some 306 Tanks made up now that they've seen this.!

Kept mine in a catch cup (plastic e-liquid bottle with top cut off) last night and no leaks. Working great. The only thing I have noticed is if you are not using an adapter and and go to unscrew the tank (the one I have) it just spins. I have to turn mine upside down and just slip it off the 306-sleeve stays in the tank and unscrew the 306 from my mod. Slip the atty back in place and all is good.
mwa-any tips for me? Thanks in advance for a fix if there is one.

Well whaddaya know! I was able to successfully convert a standard Liquinator to a 306 setup!
I slipped a cut off tube from a 510 dual-coil carto over the existing entire sleeve for a 306. Dremel cut 4 slots in the carto tube just by eyeballing it, then slipped the 306 and its sleeve into the 510 tube and then used a dental pick to punch holes in the 306 sleeve through the slots in the 510. I started out with 4 pinholes, it wasn't quite keeping up so I put a couple more in. It vapes! My only regret was that I put some nasty cheap juice in it because I was convinced it would be a fail. Right now I'm going to take it off and let it sit for awhile to see if any leaks/flooding develop.
Thanks MWA! I'll look forward to see how this concept gets fine-tuned!

Nice I was thinking of leaving the 306 sleeve through as well to see what that would do. Looks like it will work.

We'll see. When I took it off the mod there was a bit of juice in the well, but that could be because I was fiddling and re-fiddling with it over some time. As another poster said, the entire unit sans the atty easily pops right off.

Restating: The well problem can be taken care of with a sealed 510-510 adapter-I was told this by a non forum person. Makes sense that it would

In my case the leaking (and after leaving it sit for a few hours indeed it did "seep") was not through the atty hole, but between the layers of tubing surrounding the atty. First I had the 306 sleeve, then over that the 510 carto tube. Probably too much play in the arrangement. MWA's original setup with tight o-rings directly around the i06 sleeve no doubt performs better.
Now I'm glad I used nasty cheap juice...

Get a tank which will accept your 306 in a nice delrin drip tip or sleeve that the bottom hole of the tank is the correct size where the inside bottom washer will seal your 306 drip tip or sleeve ! This is the best way to do this, you dont want to be using a double sleeve Mod for a 306 you want a single sleeve Hz8 this works and works best. Hope that helps,,, you can order Delrin sleeves over at Mcamaster-Carr if need be as well as quad seal o-rings. I would hang tight for a little, you will be seeing vendors offering these tanks soon I'm sure now that modders have seen this they will be making 306 specific tanks and selling them wholesale to some of the vendors I'm sure.

Yes Snork,,, the i06 is the same size or pretty close to a 510 sleeve, so if you have a new oring in the bottom tank then it should work for you, I have found that the red 9mm ID 12MM OD Food grade O-Rings work, but I think what may work best is the quad seal o-rings in the same size available at Mcmaster-Carr for the i06. You may have to just get a couple different size o-rings to see what works best for you, I have a bunch on order and will re-post what size works best for what as soon as I they get shipped to me,,, probably early on this week I will have them, also have some delrin tube on order for standard 306 Atty's, will post it all as soon as my order arrives.

So a 306 atomizer doesn't need a 510 adapter for the Kgo? What resistance atomizer are you running on the Kgo and could you post a link to it please?

KGO, Ego, any mod, doesn't matter what brand Atty, LR probably your best bet for 4.2V or lower,,, the part that matters is the seal of the oring around the 306 cart or seal around your delrin drip tip or sleeve, so no leaks happen. As long as your 306 is sealed your good to go, if you have a 510 Carto tank then an Iken i06 should work fine as long as you have a nice new o-ring in the bottom hole of your tank clankfu.

I would buy a cheapo tank, or get yourself a nice size piece of polycarbonate Hz8 and then find yourself some nice delrin or ruBber top and bottom caps and just make your own inexpensive tank and get some 9mm x 12mm quad o-rings or even the red food grade o-rings, then you can have a nice set up with some Iken i06 Atty's, or buy a piece of delrin sleeve for reg 306 Attys so the ID of the sleeve fits your standard 306 and the outside is 9mm so the seal is correct on the OD. Then you will be all set HZ8

This is so brilliant, this entire concept. I'd hoped it would work some day and someday is finally here. Kudos to you MWA!
This will even work with the new HH.357 right? (yet another brilliant invention as it allows us to take short hard pulls like we need during breaks or stress).

I have quite a few tanks-some homemade and most purchased. It is a lot of fun and keeps my mind from every day crap and my hands busy. I'll hit the hardware store in a couple weeks to try and refine this set-up. A load of travel for the next few weeks and I'll look around for supplies.
Gotta go see my eldest midweek, she is pregnant and having serious difficulties and then off to my baby girl to visit for a couple days. If all goes well I'll be on my way to VaperCon!!!!!! Busy, busy-is a good thing. Until then I'll use my 306DCA. Thanks for the pointers. Taking my laptop to keep up with everything!
