So today was more of a learning experience. Last night I accidently added a 3rd hole thinking I was pushing the needle through one of the 2 existing hole. Did not seem to be a problem and vaped fine last night. But today I had flooding problems all day. So this is the second time my holes have allowed to much liquid in, and when that is the case it is just flood city. Lesson learned is go real small when trying to increase hole size/intake.

The good news is I when I got home I found 10 blank 306 cartridges/caps in my mailbox! So if I can't figure this out with these some one else is going to have to perfect this for me :0)

These cartridges actually have filler in them, so I left it in to see if that might make a difference. I am currently trying a slightly larger single hole, to see if that might work better. I will let you all know how that works.

Santo I like the clear CE2 tube idea. I might have to play around with that. I am just trying to keep mine as simple as possible.

I agree with you Dogtown. Custom cap or even tank is what is really needed to perfect this. Hopefully the tank guys are watching and creating. I don't think I could go back to CE2/carto vaping now that I am spoiled vaping on a 306 atty tank all day and night.

nope, i am also using a cisco 306 , and it duin good. on the io6 i put 4 holes and got some flooding, on 306 i use 2 holes...

Sweet. So what size are the 2 holes you used?

Another thing I've been thinking about, is maybe using a long wick or some cart material inside the atty cover. Not to supply the juice to the atty since it seems that vacuum through the holes does a good job of this, but rather to smooth out the amount of juice at the bridge and prevent flooding. Sort of to suck up excess juice.

Another idea I may try is to use slightly larger holes and a sleeve with matching holes to slide over the atty cover. I would want to be able to turn the outer sleeve to adjust the hole size for different juice viscosity.

Whoo Hoo !!!!!!!

mwa.... you da man !!!

While waiting for more i06's....... I took the i06 DT and it slid perfectly over the 306 cart and gave me about 2 1/2".

OK, It took me two tries but I found an O-ring that works with the Liquinator. First try was a 008 and it fit the 306 but was too thick to fit in the groove of the tank cap. I went back and got a 004 and it thins as it stretches over the 306 though I had to put it in top of cap first. I'm well past 40 hits and it works beautifully.

One hiccup ~ the hole size in the cart. I started with 2 holes with a big sewing needle. It worked perfect with juice in the picture. When I filled the tank half way, it leaked thru the batt hole. I put one hole in another cart and it really leaked bad. Then I took the first cart pushed on the inside to close the holes some and it didn't let enough juice in (I started feeling like Goldilocks LOL). I opened one of the hole and it's almost just right.

Well almost perfect, but still lovin' it :)

Hopefully Isaac makes a 2 1/2" i06 DT.

Got mine set up with a Delrin Tube now, works very nice in my opinion and much better than the stock cart of the io6 or 306.

Quadshot, when you fill your tank put your top cap on and turn your tank sideways when you push it tight, have the air bubble over your holes, this helps with the pressure in the tank and doesn't flood it so much in the beginning.

Longer the Delrin tube bigger the tank, more juice, more vape time, holes just right, Vape On !

Warf,

Now imagine using just that io6 Drip tip in a long version, then another piece of Delrin tube 1/2" slide over top of the i06 tube that is in the tank, holes going through both at the same place, outer tube can be turned to adjust the flow of juice and for thickness of juice ;) This is how I now have mine set up, and it's Banging Vapor and fully adjustable too :2cool:

By the time I get back in town Saturday, I should have everything I need to make one of these in da house.

I'm going to use 5mil syringes to make the tank. I'm going with this size since it's the same diameter as the IPro PV. I'll be giving up juice capacity for aesthetics. The goal is to have the look of an eGo bat with a eGo DC Mega Carto attached.

I'll be a Cisco 306 atty with the XL DT.

Couple of things I'm going to do differently. Keeping the smaller capacity in mind, I am going to fashion a fill plug. To adjust flow, I plan on mounting a adjustment screw from a needle valve adjusting screw in the side of the tank that lines up with where one slightly to big hole is drilled in the DT. Prolly overkill, but will be a fun mod.

MWA thanks for the sideways cap advice. I will definitely try that. Oh your killing me with your delrin mod :0) that sound so sweet. Especially with the adjustable outer sleeve. Glad to hear the results you are getting. That is my biggest struggle getting my holes right to get consistent vaping all day. And once I make the holes too big or too many and it starts flooding the cap is no longer useable. Please keep us informed.

I received the tighter 0-ring for the tank set-up with a io6 attie. Four holes as the recipe described and it works great. The only issue I have is that liquid builds up on the outside of the bottom of the tank, so the juice is not coming through the tank bottom as that is now 100% sealed, but it is coming through the holes of the atty connector.......
