Here's an update on my experience with mwa mod. I left the grommet as is I didn't trim it. Every time I tried to cut it to fit I had leakage. Now no leakage and it's perfect. This also works on the 510 you just have to trim the grommet to fit.

The only down side of this is you have to use a syringe to refill. You can do it without the syringe but it can get pretty messy.

I'm using the 801 on my Chuck at 6v and a hv atty and the flavor is great with no burnt taste. The 510 is on my PureSmoker PT and it's as close to dripping as you can get.

One other thing. You can take the condom from the carto you used to make this and cut a hole in the center of it and use the 808 as a dripper. Easier to take the condom off compared to the white cap.

MWA great mod.

Harpo,

Thanks for your input on my Mod, listen when I say trim it I mean bearly graze the edge with a razor blade just a smidgent, and yes letting the foam hang all sopping wet is working very well, I was still making adjustments in my original post harpo I wanted everyone to try this and make there own as well, never the less thank you for your help and posting your finding, I think this is the vest MOD yet for the 801 cart and just creates a nice cool juice and a lot of it in the tank and plumes of vapor

Are you shaving it all the way around?

The draw is also great without all that fiiler in the cart, let the foam hang out a hald in or so and when you refill I get the foam that sticking out real wet to prime it and put a drop or two right on it and turn it upright so it runs into the cart and contacts the juice then its primed

How much of the foam are you leaving in the cart? How much out? How about some pics?

right now im playing around with it and experimenting a bit and have it sticking out about 3/4" of an inch using my ggt but also using another one in my GGTS and have it at 1/4" just trying to see what works best. Im also playing with the thickness of the blue foam to see what gets me the perfect amount of fluid to the atty, once I have this all done I will post and have pics up on it with what made the best version.!!! Make some adjustments liek I am and let me know what you come up with also Harpo if you would OK,
Thanks,
Matt

I trimmed the plug up and no more leaks. Right now I have a 1/2" outside and about 3/4 of the cartridge with foam and it's working great on my Chuck at 6v.

I have to go out for awhile, when I return I'll mess with it on my GGTS. On my 510 it's perfect.

Interesting - it's basically the BF plug or dart mod, but using the silicon instead of foam only, or foam + straw/dart.

Now, how long did it take you to make a dozen of those? :) I don't doubt it works, but it will sure be nice when a manufacturer makes a better cart standard. I got tired of playing with straws and such a while ago. :(

I couldn't agree with you more here. I think I gave up on carts in the first month. I was using the spring/straw thingie and it was good for about the first few fills. It always seemed that I return to dripping again so carts went out the window. Now the AFS has cured me of the dripping syndrome.... I can leave the juice bottles in the drawer now.

With some new juice I made up last night that is about 50 percent VG, the mix I like, you really dont even need the foam I am finding on my MOD. The best thing here without the foam I am finding is when your atty turns on weather a push button or automatic Batt it heats the fluid just enough to make it drip onto my Atty which is even better and really perfect now. Im glad everyone likes this and it's quite simple to make for all of us..
