try this mod with just the v4l grommet thats in a carto and no blue foam at all. When your att turns on it heats the fluis and just enough will drop out the hole from the grommet, it wont drip out otherwise, if you have any VG in your liquid. It really works quite awesome
As I have read this thread twice now, I think your mode requires removing the original "poly-fill", correct? So, since I use PG juice only, I assume I would NEED the "blue foam". Otherwise it would just run out, correct? I have never seen VG juice, it must be real thick stuff!
WHERE does one get "blue foam"?
I am willing to try anything, I have played with all four types for my GGTS.
First choice: Cartomizers, which I now refill with PG juice using condom method and run at 6 volts, great, least amount of work, longest vaping time without constant attention.
501, my 2nd choice, like any cartridge, needs often refilling, but seemingly less attention then the next two choices.
901, my 3rd choice, (I have both HV and regular attys).
801, my LAST choice but DREADED!, (I have both HV and regular attys). I have to just about OVERFILL the thing to get any juice flow and decent vaping. Then of course juice seems to collect on the outside of the white plastic casing while inside the atty, and some gets into the mouth piece at times, and can drip further into the GGTS case, had this happen once on total "overfill", overall very MESSY no matter what I do. If the 801 is not dripping wet at first, then it runs DRY much faster then all the other carts, even though it has the largest reserve. The standard, included, poly-fill just does NOT feed the atty well at all, seems like a horrible design, though not that different then all the others, which is odd.
I'll try anything to just be able to use the 801 when I like to switch and use all my new toys. Now I know why folks go to dripping, using an 801 cart is just as much work, if not more. I have dripped but still want to attempt to master what I can with carts. Until I get the Imeo AFS II, my first and easy choice is still using cartomizers and refilling them and burning at 6 volts.
Thanks!
