First of all HI!! 
It started pretty much when they finally banned public smoking in Michigan. My bf kept talking about someone at work that had "one of these electric thingies he sucked on all day at his desk". I didn't pay too much attention because I figured it was just something else that wouldn't really do me any good. One day we stopped into a local coffee shop that was selling starter kits (510) for $50. One atomizer, one battery, five carts and a charger (either usb or wall but not both). My bf decided to give it a try. We came home, he was loving it and started doing our research. Too little too late. He was none to happy thinking he'd gotten ripped off.
After all you could buy this really cool blu with two atomizers, two batteries, both chargers, a pack that charged on the go and 25 whole carts for only $10 more. We both ended up with one. At first omg it was so awesome, then a few days later I was buying smokes because it wasn't so terribly awesome anymore. Both blus eventually went back. Nice try but it wasn't what we needed.
Just as we had decided this we notice a van across the street for a local vapor shop. We talked to them for a bit and I went down and bought him a $20 starter pack. Obviously kinda cheap but he was liking it a whole lot. I snagged the 510... and kept smoking my pack a day (smoker's choice, feeling my pain?) The battery was always dead
In comes the forums. I started digging. I wasn't going to give up. For one thing I want to stop smoking these nasty little cigars and another we've turned so many friends and associates onto ecigs that I'd look like a turd stepping outside for my stinky sticks. I dug through these forums, turned myself on to different liquids, high nic levels and bigger batteries.
Thanks to everyone here and all the information, I got my Riva today and so far I haven't wiped out a battery. XD And I've discovered Vaporbomb's bottle top. OMG! I keep alternating between it and my little cigars though. I did notice at one point I had a smoke sitting lit in the ash tray and I was puffing away at my Riva, an awesome sign! (yes, the headache I suffered about 15 minutes later taught me a good hard lesson)
One thing I wondered if anyone else was in the position to notice.... I have some teeth problems and I have several teeth in pretty bad shape.... I've noticed the more I vape as opposed to smoke the more they ache. Just wondering if that's a mind thing or if there might be a reason behind it.
Oh, a huge note I missed. The BF hasn't had a real cigarette since the day he purchased the 510. So over a month now. I'm hoping I can follow suit eventually. HE stole his 510 back. lol!
