Yeah it could be a gennie type tank. I was thinking scratch built atty for use with a short ceramic wick.
Are you keeping the fill hole/other holes plugged? I have left them out as it seemed to keep the wick wetter, however doing so also keeps everything wetter if it doesn't stay upright
I'm just trying to work on efficiency with the ceramic, and was thinking that the short ceramic wicks seem to have less lag and need less power than long and thicker wicks.
Yes, much less lag on the small wicks used on my drippers.
On the RSSTs I plug, on the AGA I leave the fill hole open. Sometimes I plug the AGA with a small PTFE tube that reduces the fill hole but leaves a small hole for air.
