My biggest source of frustration is....

I have been going on two months now smoke free thanks to vaping. However my biggest frustration so far is the inconsistancy. I know this is to be expected in this emerging market but even knowing that going in it is still well, frustrating. Cartos that don't work/work the same from the same pack, juice that tastes different even though it was ordered the same, batteries that die way too soon, etc. Don't get me wrong I will not get frustrated enough to stop vaping but I just felt the need to vent a bit.

Ok, over it, now on to my next order......

I guess that is the reason I moved away from stock units into mods, they just seem easier to control some of the problems associated with hardware issues, batteries, voltage, switches. My juice suppliers seem to get it right every order so that is good. Atty’s & carto’s work better when you can select the right ones to use with the voltage you are using.
I have a few KR808d & Elegants sitting here I don't use. Stock mass marketed e-cigs break down and fail the manfactures build them that way because they know people will keep buying them.

You have to remember that the atty/carto is a CONSUMABLE item ( batteries to just longer lived ) once you do that and compare the cost you will get over it !

I undestand that I meant the overall lack of consistancy with the products. I am totally fine with treating all these things as disposable in the short to medium term. What I am particularly frustrated by is the uncertainty of the products I order. For example one carto works perfect, take another out of the same box and it is drastically different (too airy, to hard a draw, does not work at all, etc.). I know the batteries are basically disposable but some lasts months and other go after a few weeks. I guess it is the QC or lack there of that I am getting at.

When I find that perfect (or at least adequate) experience I would just like to be certain I can duplicate it in the future. That is all.

So sorry for your frustration !!! Hope it helped to vent. I guess I've been lucky so far(yeah I know I'll probably jinx myself by writting this !) but 3 months in and no dead batteries or attys yet. Cartos have lasted what I consider a reasonable amount of time and juice has stayed consistant order to order. The one DOA battery and charger I got were quickly replaced by the vendor with ones that work well. Now if I could just stop buying new toys and start to enjoy the savings of vaping over smoking all would be wonderful :)

I have been eyeing the various mods out there and I am sure I will go that direction sooner rather than later. At this point though I am afraid to change what has been working (albeit imperfectly) for me.

I feel you on that... it's one of the main reasons i got my GGTS mod, because of the adjustable airflow ring, can always set it just right for cartos which have weird airflow. Mechanical mods really are the way forward though, there's no electronics to go wrong, if the battery flunks then unscrew it and put another one in.

Consider using different suppliers. Not all attys of the same model are made on the same assembly lines.

Some retailers also offer warranties or exchanges. If you're getting enough inconsistant products from who you order now, you should change that or at least off-set it.

I'd personally suggest using a vendor with a replacement policy. They buy from the manufacturers and will have the buying volume to in-turn pressure for increased QC.

Super User Friendly, I went right from N-Joy to this with 0 problems

Get the starter kit that comes with 2 batteries and a charger

ps. I always had problems with cartomizers so I just get the blank cartridges and fill them with my fav e-liquid and go at it.

I also Drip.

Here is some info in those areas
