No. I'm out of the ECX flavors at the moment, down to my last 20mls of #7. I've been focusing my attention on tobacco extracts .... trying to find that holy grail so that I don't have to rely on ECX for the B&M Still no success there to report. Yet

A couple of the Mcbarren 7 Seas blends look interesting based on the reviews MacBaren Bulk Tobacco I haven't extracted any yet but plan to.

I finally tried the real BB. Without steeping, it's amazingly out of this world. My buddy is thinking about vaping now after I let him try it.

My comparison with my clone as well as the bought clone, it is nothing like the real BB. I'm still trying to sort the flavors but it's definitely my all day vape and the ejuice I recommend for those that want to quit the darts.

I still like the clones especially from Cat Skill since you can customize the PG/VG and add extra flavor. I've got some Black Mile coming so I'll give that a try.

Let's keep this thread alive in hopes to create something that a smoker will like and make the full switch to vaping.

Be sure to let us know how they compare. I personally haven't tried either the clones or the real deal yet, so I'll be interested in how you compare them as someone who has tried both.

I almost wish I never tried it.. I started vaping it the first week I started vaping, and used it everyday for about a year and a half.. then this whole fiasco went down and I couldn't get it. I'm forcing myself not to buy anymore.. I'm just concentrating on making a juice I like at least as much.. I think I'm on the right track, but I'd be terrified to try them side by side!
I got paid today so I will be buying that tobacco that was posted earlier in this thread and try an extract of that.. probably use it in my maple/graham cracker/brown sugar mix.. I bet it'll be great!

I gotta say that there aren't too many that I don't like even though they aren't 'precisely' Boba's. Boba's, to me anyway, seems to be a 'moving target' that changes every so often whereas my clones are rock solid. Does that make them better? Not a chance! but oh my I've got some great juice. Boba's remains unique. Hats off to Alien Vision

I kept hearing people talk about how bobas bounty changes over time, but I vaped it for a year and a half and never noticed any change from the day I got it to a month later... Are my taste buds that terrible that I can't detect the changes? Or maybe it was just so gradual I didn't notice?

I just got home and tore into the envelope to get to my Boba's. Ok here it goes...

I've got an Octopus RDA loaded with SloHand's #7 (made on 6-25) and an Igo-L with the real deal that arrived today.

SloHand's #7: Medium amber color. The cinnamon roll flavor is dominant. Moderately sweet. AP is more apparent in the exhale which cuts the sweetness a bit. There's also a cigar-like funk that shows up well after the exhale that I don't remember detecting last time I vaped it. A pleasant surprise.

Boba's: Dark amber, almost brown in color. Earthy dry cocoa and caramel dominate. Buttery vanilla and honey tobacco show up in the exhale. It's good, but not mind blowing. I realize it's young and from what I've read it will transform in the coming weeks.

The verdict, for now: I've not been ruined by the glory that is Boba's bounty. In the coming weeks, maybe it'll metamorphize into a spectacular butterfly. For now, it's just a handsome caterpillar.

The first time I vaped bobas I was very disappointed, I wondered what the fuss was about.. Then I kept vaping it and it just grew on me very strong and fast

Keep vaping it... Bobas is more of a chameleon than a butterfly. It will change. Enjoy

I tell yea the secret flavor(s) is probably so simple and common that most people have them already. I just got my order of Black Mile and the smell is very similar. They might be using some distilled water and vinegar but it's still pretty thick.

It's most definitely got to be a custom tobacco extract, all signs point to that being the case. Which is why it's so hard to replicate.. It's more than just purchased flavors.

I going to disagree. Ben has said it was simple, and there was one person to figure it out. I do not this the guy, and he is keeping his mouth closed.

I agree that it sounds like it's a tobacco or cigar extract which would explain why it changes so much as it sits.

Just watched a boba's bounty review and he mentioned a tobac called Blue note , Now i've trawled all through this thread and can't find any mention of this blue note, Yet this guy picks up blue note, May be worth a try .
