What can I say about it.. I like it, and I will definitely use the 30ml I made. However, there’s something in there, that I just thought was...off. I think it’s the sweet cream, after smelling it a bunch, and retasting it several times, I don’t think I’m a huge fan of the sweet cream. It just has a different taste I’d say.
Just remember that it is a "cream;" and many creams benefit from a couple of weeks aging. If it is not spectacular right now, and you have other juice to keep yourself vaping; you may want to park that fresh mix in a closet for a couple of weeks, and then revisit it. It may get better.

That said, I do agree with @PJReid, that some people just don't like TFA Sweet Cream. I found this kind of interesting:

"Buttermilk" and "cheesy" are not notes I would expect in something named "Sweet Cream." o_O

I get pure butter notes - not buttermilk or cheese. It is not unpleasant but not to my taste. Whipped Cream makes Rocke de Menthe even better, IMO. It has a light, sweet, creamy flavor and rounds out the Creme de Menthe - maybe I will change the name of my version to Whipped Creme de Menthe.

One to try, based on Element Watermelon Chill
2% koolade 10% TPA
0.3% peppermint TPA
2% sweetener TPA
15% watermelon TPA

I have been looking at different versions of this recipe. Minty Watermelon seems to be the flavor of the month which is odd for October. I keep trying to branch out in my juice variety but always seem to go back to my favorite. I will probably order a sample sized bottle of watermelon flavoring when I reorder things I am low on just to give it a whirl.

I actually ordered TPA watermelon 10ml with my last order. I have TPA koolada and Ethyl Maltol. I do not have the peppermint, but I have inw natural mint and cap cool mint I can sub. Looking forward to trying this one out!

I may cut down the 15% on the watermelon, unless it’s necessary for it to be that high.

INW-Natural Mint would be an interesting sub for TFA-Peppermint; I would think this will provide more of a "watermelon mojito" type of profile. I find TFA-Peppermint to be a very sweet hard candy type of peppermint (think candy cane) while INW-Natural Mint is a lot like chewing on a fresh mint leaf. (To me that is; as always "your mileage may vary").

I don't know how long you have been doing your own DIY, or how familiar you are with using EM, but I personally am not a fan of its use as a "sweetener." As a sweetener, too much is needed (say, compared to TFA-Sweetener (sucralose), or vape-quality stevia), and can really mute, or muddle, a flavor profile. Don't get me wrong, EM can have a place, for adding a touch of body, or moistness, or even taking off some unwanted sharp notes; but generally not as a sweetener.

For this recipe, if I didn't have a true sweetener, I would first mix with out a substitute. Mix, shake, and then vape a small amount to get an idea of its profile (this should be a shake-n-vape recipe; no aging, heat, or open top "breathing" required). You may find it is good without any additional sweetening.

But, if you think it could benefit from a little more sweetness, I would measure off a small amount (maybe three milliliters to 5mL at most), and add to only that small sample one or two drops of EM, give it another shake, and taste (vape) test it again. Did it help, or hurt, the initial mix? If it is no better, or worse, then you haven't ruined the whole batch. If it is better, and you think it could be even better with more, add another drop to your small sample (keep track of how many drops you add, so you can make notes, and adjust your recipe: 1 drop per milliliter of sample is going to be somewhere in the vicinity of 3-4%, based on actual drop size and size of sample. So, in a 3-5 mL sample that same 1 drop is somewhere around 0.6-1.33%). You can keep repeating, until it is to your liking, or it begins to hurt the overall flavor. (As a side note: this experiment is also good for helping you to understand how useful EM may, or may not, be to your personal palate.)

A final thought on additives (like EM) in general; ECF community member @dannyv45 wrote a very helpful tutorial a while ago, and was good enough to post it on his blog. You can check it out here at your leisure.
Let us know how it turns out; best of luck!:toast:

Take note of above post will be most useful for you, For me TPA is my go to for mints & watermelon
having tried most others, as said ethyl maltol a no no, If using inawera less% capello more%
Try mixing 10ml of different % if not all TPA concentrates, good luck hope you find your flavour.

I ordered the Halloween special from OSDIY, and got a small discount using the ECF code. Really, really looking forward to trying the sweet tea, and the others I ordered!

So far, my mint mixes have been nice with Capella cool mint and INW natural mint.

Also, regular 50/50 12mg with 3% koolada only, is pretty legit for me. Definitely liking that simple mix.

If you get a chance to make some small sample batches to try those in the next 2 weeks...it might be a good idea. Kimberly (owner of OSDIY) told me on the phone yesterday that they'll be having a sale for Halloween, with a little larger discount than the normal one they have for ECF members. If you like any of the samples and end up wanting larger sizes, the sale would save you some money on them. (I always wait for their sales to stock up on their OSF and OSB that I use.) You may want to sign up for their email newsletter if you didn't already, so you'll know when their sales start. Sometimes they actually start before the holiday itself.
