That's 54mg of nicotine in the dog. If my dog swallowed that much nic, I'd take him to the vet. He's only 35lbs tho. How big of a dog are we talking about?
He is a big lab, it happened about three days ago, my cousin informed me last might. I have only guinea pigs pretty sure it would have seen them off
What is it about nicotine? My lil Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix is a thief! I've learned to keep all my vape stuff in a box on my end table. If it's laying out, he grabs it. He almost got one of my tanks chewed open before I caught him. I just don't get the attraction there. Glad your cousins dog is ok, dangerous stuff!

Our Wiem...Sage...LOVES coffee grounds. If we put them in the garbage can "inside" he will tear em out and eat em. We MUST take them to the outside can. Or suffer the consequences....LoL

My dog eats every once living thing we put in the garbage! If it's a paper towel that you wiped pizza sauce off of your fingers with, it's history! He even takes out cans and licks them clean if you don't rinse them first. Glad the dog is okay, I'm sure one day I'll be taking mine to the vet asking her to remove the paper/plastic from my dogs rump!

A loooonng loong time ago in another life before I got older I had a english bullddog that stole weed & your beer if it was in his reach.

One of my 5 month old puppies(100 lbs at the time) ate a whole womens wool sweater. It came out intact. Damn dogs.
Nicotine is relative to size and metabolism. A large active Lab would be OK. I suspect a 70 lb basset hound would not be as fortunate. Those with pets and children should keep activated charcoal(fish aquarium supplies) handy should they ever need to make that call to poison control. 1-800-222-1222
