I only drip 3 drops per taste test, so I don't compensate. Maybe I should though?
With the DNB added back in, that ashy note is back! And with a few more days of steeping, I can taste the Fig now with the Plum about equally represented as the Fig. This is my favorite mix so far. I'm going to stick a fork in it and call it done. I rate it 8/10 as a recipe.

*Steep 1 week to 1 month without UC/Heat; if you use UC/Heat, adjust time accordingly

How do u kno ur goin from 1, 2, 3, or 4% and higher each time u vape it then add more flavor? Sorry I meant vape not actually when u taste the flavors. My bad.
This is truly nice. I am done here also and calling this good. I rate this recipe 8/10.

I know what you mean. I am using 5ml sample sizes. I drop 3 drops per taste test. So, I'm guessing I am diluting the sample negligibly, so I haven't compensated. This may not be good, it's just what I have done.
Aaah. Nah that makes sense. Thanx for ur info. Gonna haftuh grab some of those flavors and make those tobacco recipes. Haven't really found one I like yet. Urs seem interesting. Have a good night keep up the great work.

I got it bad flower---My only store bought juice is NT and a local vape shop with a few killer nutty juices and a banana thing they call King....I am extracting tobacco as we speak. Wakonda and Radioactive are both goals for me as clones.

Dark Fire tobacco from INA (WG) would go great with a nut mixed in, instead of plum, I just haven't gotten that far. That's ironic you mention Chestnut - I just ordered that today. Any impressions, ideas, guidance with it?
If you like a nutty flavor, try INA 7 volwes and/or Nut Mix by FA, I think it is.
Each of these is at 8% concentration, tested on a LR510 atty:

) but if you want to see where you can get to with chestnuts grab some of this: Chestnuts - Phoenix Vapor ShopJames, one of the owners, is in the flavor lab most days. He really takes pride in his stuff and most of it is really divine. I am lucky to have him right here in the ATX. He slides me a tip or two every now and then and I have to time by begging properly
It's a local Austin Shop that I started at and their juice is far and away better than the other 37 B&Ms in greater Austin.
My strategy is probably the same as yours. I bought some flavorings, chestnut included of course and some other nutties and trying to find the right combination. I am going for that delicate, sweet nutty flavor. It is a complex flavor and easy to overdo. I'm in the honey, smokey, leather, oak, beech, dark, roasty and spicy vein.

Hahahaha CJRM, I'll have to remember that one. I am in that mode, but at the same, I haven't found my DIY ADV yet, so I'm still using commercial most of the time while I test and experiment. I'll check out that vendor - any other flavor worth getting? I hate to pay shipping for one bottle.
I like that vein. I'm heading in that direction after I leave the fruity tobacco and fruit mixes. I try to keep myself designated to one vein at a time to prevent utter confusion.

My favorites are tobacco flavors but I haven't been able to find one that may work as my adv. Guess I am enjoying DIY more as a hobby, and most of my "creations" go down the drain.

I really like Ahlusion. I vaped their liquids almost exclusively for a long time. Their Smooth Criminal is the closest to an ADV that I've found. I also like some of their other tobaccos and some of their drink mixes like Mango Lassi and teas.
Other than Ahlusion, I like 2 mixes by AiV - April Moon and Pear Ship.
I like 5 Pawns, but like many, I can't justify paying almost $1/ml when I vape so fast. But, their flavors are tasty, unique, complex, and worth a treat every now and then.
I like others, just not on a daily basis.
I think some have a harder time finding an ADV. With my DIY so far, I haven't made one I vape all day. I've got 2 that I vape daily, but nothing that I can chain vape.
Maybe I can help you out with the tobaccos. Which Inawera tobacco flavors do you like best? Do you like tobaccos paired with fruits or menthol or what?
One thing I am learning, DIY is a tedious process that takes time and patience. The only other way you can forgo all of this testing is to just following the recipes others have created and utilize their learning process. Have you looked at HIC's recipes? HeadInClouds? Look at that blog and see if any of those recipes look good to you. This person uses a lot of FA flavorings, but I have substituted with other brands (INW, TFA, and CAP) and have been happy with the results.

Chewbacca- Nilly Tobacky (best I have ever vaped)
Jawa- Like Jango but sweeter
Thrilla- Vanilla rich and thick and smooth
Black Honey Tobacco- great
I'm a big Smooth Criminal fan as well as Wakonda and The virus from VT. Ahlusion juice is so smooth. Kona kick and Banana Cream I can only vape one tank at a time then need to take a break.
Check out their other juices. My guess is their fruits are probably really good too. James is the Master.
They even have some "flower" vapes
artmustel, have you ever tried MFS 4 Star General? It is a sweet tobacco base and truly incredible for my buds. It has many rave reviews. I am using it as a base in many of my mixes and seems to always turn out. It is expensive at $15.95 for 10mls and $41.95 for 30 mls but there is a reason for their pricing.
I use it at 5% and as high as 15%...It goes well with anything...
It is easily an ADV and can make your mixing more enjoyable with some success
