I hadn't see my doctor for over 2 year and I had started back smoking before that. I decided I needed to get a check up and fess up. When I told him I had gone back to smoking way back I got his squint eyed look of both disappointment and like he was staring through my head. Before I could say I was vaping i reached for my PV and I was looking at his eyes. They went very bright and he pointed and said, "GOOD THAT WORKS".
Thought this was useful info.
Won't know the results until Firday or Monday. But had to share this.
I'll post the results of the checkup later.
I already celebrated with custom tip and a new flavor. Cranberry.

Almost fogot got my ViviNova today. He he Very nice.
So got 1.5 good news.

I fessed up on my last appointment and the nurse asked lots of questions about vaping because she's a smoker and was impressed by my lower blood pressure and how my chest sounded. I told her to come to ECF, but not sure if she ever did.

The doctor was a bit more guarded in her response, but supportive. I got the old, "Well it's BETTER than smoking cigarettes, but not as good as quitting..." line.

Good for you steve. I was in the hospital for overdosing on antibiotics, Dr over prescribed them ,, man I was sick. The wife got me one of those cheap gas station e cigs to get me by, was still smoking at the time, nurses and Dr's had no problems with it in the hospital room. I didn't have to hide it, just funny looks...I am in lower Alabama though,,LOL

Oh yeah, I also got my Viva Nova about 30 minutes ago in the mail and oh wow,, I am in love, Flavor Flavor , much better than anything i have tried. I am using a 1.8ohm atop a Kgo and it works great so far. I think an 1100 battery is a Kgo

My ohms readings off a Fluke 115 were almost double what is listed though. This is a fairly new meter and pretty good So i'm wondering about that. It sits on top of my Ego twist or passthrough for now the Provari is in the shop. I'm stumped as to the high ohms readings right now. I tested it at the base and at the atty even hooked up a screw on base to it still high readings. Seems to work on the twist ok at max volts but not so good on the passthrough.

Let's hear it for open minded Doctors! After I told my MD I quit smoking, and how, he asked me to explain vaping. What was in the liquids and how a PV worked. (Pretty sure he was already familiar but he knew he count count on me for detail oriented information.) If he had any issues or concerns about vaping he sure didn't express them.

Hoping all is good news about your checkup.

I took my cousin to get an angiogram the other day. I asked the cardiologist what he thought of vaping. He said, "I don't care how you get the nicotine as long as it isn't from smoking."

My cousin who thought vaping was silly, kept asking for hits off my ProVari while we were there (9 Hours). :p He smokes two packs a day.

I love to hear about doctors who approve of e cigs.

The e cig was featured on "the doctors" a while back and it got the thumbs up. So I was really surprised when I checked the Dr. Oz web site and found his only mention was a regurgitation of the old FDA study and warning. I assumed that Dr Oz had not actually written the article and it had been passed off to an intern.

No one laugh about my tv doctors mention. There are an awful lot of people who base their health care knowledge on tv doctor recommendations. I am not one of them but given the amount of people who do - accurate information is important. It was rather shocking to me that Dr Oz didnt even give the e cig more research or consideration.

This is the problem with our elected officials these days They do not represent you and I Or we can say most dont! It is no longer a Democrat or Republican thing. Both party's are there to promote them selves. Our economy is being hurt with over regulation and legislation. We are all worried any day now that there will be a law passed that will end our happy vaping days. This is going on in all phases of our lives.
I hope this is an eye opener to everyone here you know see their trickster and misinformation at work with ecig products. This is just the tip of the ice burg. There are things they are doing that are affecting you in some very serious ways!

Most Doctors will sayVaping is 100% better than Smoking.

Simple. Because he can get big bucks commercials for Chantix and Nicorette and there is no big bucks in e-cig advertising. How many times does he promote something considered natural? (As in: there's no money in doing that.)

Can't recall who said it, but their observation was that viewing the Dr. Oz show was like watching a run-on 60 minute commercial.
