Wait a sec... I ordered a PCC (hasn't shipped yet) and I am a bit confused...
Will my Dura-C batteries work with it, or is it going to be useless for me?

I'll wait until the majority of the dura-c/d/e/f/g owners sound off that their gear is working perfectly...then I'll consider it.
That is what I think. I think they were in such a hurry to get something out for those already with the Dura that they didn't even think of the PCC until it was too late. Hence the redesign coming out for the manual batteries as well.
If you only have the Dura-C manual batteries, then no. They will not work with the PCC and Janty's site now reflects this. Old automatic Dura batteries (the ones with the problems) will work with the PCC, as well as the mini-fogger batteries. You can see about getting old automatic Dura batteries, get mini-fogger batteries (which are supposedly compatable with the Dura-C atomizer), wait for the new automatic Dura-C batteries to be released or wait even longer for the new manual Dura-C batteries to be released.
I have 3 sets ordered. I know how you feel.

I am getting 2 old automatic batteries for use out and about with the PCC hoping that being broken down for going into the PCC and no dripping that they will hold up. If not I will get some of the "new and improved ones" when they come out. Providing the rest holds up, I got good prices on the kits and Janty has a decent warranty.
I'm looking at it this way. I've had a cell phone for over 10yrs. I just got a phone with bluetooth.

Yes the PCC fiasco ticks me off, but what else is there to do? If I decide it just isn't going to work, I send it back and get her a 901.

Personally, the carts leaking between the cart and the atomizer was somewhat annoying but hardly a deal-breaker. My personal thought is that it's a combination of the cartridges not being as tight as they could be and the fact that most of us keep the Dura cartridges very wet to get the best possible vape. I learned that when I put up my Dura, I'd wrap it in a bit of cloth so that if there were any leaks, it wouldn't make a mess.
I also heard (can't remember where, though) that there was a tendency for liquid to leak from the atomizer into the battery, which may have caused or exacerbated the battery problems. I expect that particular issue has been addressed with the advent of the sealed battery.
I suspect that there was a rush to get the Dura-C out in the hands of customers because the initial reaction to the Dura was so great . . . and then the outcry even greater when the failures started.
In any event, I've set my alarm for 10:30 p.m. CST when my batteries will have been charging for 8 hours. I have sooooo missed my Dura, and if the Dura-C performs as well as the original Dura performed for me for the first two weeks, I'm going to be a very, very happy camper.

Ordered my Dura-C on 3/7. Waiting on shipment confirmation 3/9. Will post a review once received. Im currently using a TW 901 Platinum and a Smoke Stik mini. Im excited to try the Dura-C!
I have been wondering if you kept it upright, cartridge down, like in a pen holder, if that would prevent some of the problem and better protect the old automatic batteries?
That seems to be what Janty is saying. I think the sealed battery is why Janty is advertising "Drip Away" and "Safe to Drip" that people are so surprised about.

LOL I'm hoping for the same, minus bad batteries of course. Hopefully the leaking is fixed, but if not and a few adjustments to it's care to minimize leaks are required, that's okay. Every e-cig has it's tradeoffs.

You are not kidding. I had three Dura batteries, two absolutely dead and one that is wonky (to put it kindly). One of the hardest things was for me to send back the two dead batteries. Honestly, I should have sent the wonky one back, too, but I just couldn't bear to do it. Every once in awhile I'll vape my old Dura with that wonky battery just to get a few hits.

This sounds like the same ride I went on with the first four batches of the KB, each promising to fix the problems with the old. To Janty's credit, they did get it right in the end, and they did give new sets to the customers who had bought the old batches. I'm glad not to be on the ride this time, though.
Tolken--I placed my order 2/8 for two Duras. (I was getting another for myself and one for my sister.) When the Dura-C was announced, I switched my order to that. So I'm not sure whether you would count my order as being early February or mid to late February.
Interesting to note that I did NOT receive a shipping notice. Typically, you get an e-mail when your items ship, but I didn't this go around. (And, yes, I routinely check my spam folder just in case.) So your Dura-C may be on its way to you even as we speak. Heck, it could be in your mailbox right now . . . .

Jeff sent me replacements for my 1st-gen Dura batteries. They are charging now. So, to Janty's credit, they are taking care of their customers.
The Dura was fantastic until the batteries started to fail. I hope the redesign is solid. I love the Kissbox, but I really like the firmer pull that the Dura required, and the vapor level was better, too. Will report back after the batteries get their full charge.
