batteries fully charged, and . . .
My initial impressions are good but not amazing. I think I need to break it in a bit.
First, the new carts I purchased seem to be a much better fit, not as loose as with the original Dura model. So who knows . . . maybe that problem has been fixed. (Of course, I still have tons of carts I purchased with the old model, so I'll have to suffer through those a bit.)
The kit came with two atomizers, and I'm shocked at how different the pull is on each of them. With one, I really have to work on the draw. With the other atomizer, the draw is still firm, but not nearly as hard as with the other atomizer.
Just for kicks, I put one of my old Dura atomizers on the new battery. I am surprised at how little pull there is with the old atomizer (and how little vapor). I'm thinking I'll need to send the old atomizer back to Jeff. I had suspected my atomizers with the original Dura weren't doing so well, but because my batteries were obviously having problems, I didn't feel that I could adequately judge the atomizer performance. Now I can, and the performance of my old atomizer is definitely lacking.
I decided to take their word for it, and I dripped on the atomizer. Now, THAT provides a very nice throat hit. The vapor is nice and warm, and it just feels more like an analog. The flip side, though, is I think a warmer vapor tends to not provide quite as much complexity in taste as the cooler vaper provided by, say, the Kissbox.
I'll report back in a few days.
Happy
vaping!
