Hello folks, just letting my story be told to those who may be interested. Well, my mother died of cancer from smoking, father had two heart attacks apparently linked to smoking, and quit. And I still continued to smoke knowing that. So, when I saw the e-cigs advertisements, figured I had to try it in order to continue smoking without the death or dying part.
The Order : Picked up a standard Joye 510 starting kit, ordered last Wednesday night (yes right before New Years eve, New Years, and the weekend), as well as high strength Marlboro flavoring, and tobacco. It also so happens I ran out of smokes on that night, and vowed to not buy any more until I tried the 510 (yay for withdrawal). Tuesday night comes, my order is here, fully charged up and loaded(and primer fluid blown completely out of new atomizers). First up : Marlboro. I was a Marlboro/Camels primarily smoker, and believe me when it tasted nothing like the brand, or even tobacco at all. It was sweet enough to be sickening, and I threw it out on the basis that it was expired or something, tasted like crap. That is, until I used my other battery and atomizer to smoke some of the tobacco flavor. Long story short, after a few attempts to try and correct it, I could not get it to stop tasting like the outside layer of Advil to keep you from gagging on the taste while you swallow it. Unfortunately, an Advil is just what I needed after several attempts to try this, headaches being severely dehydrated from each puff (had my water glass, felt like half a cup was necessary per puff). And as for the throat hit and smoke, it was not satisfying, I didn't feel like I was actually smoking anything (although I could certainly taste it, and felt the heart race from niccotine). Overall, I can't really understand the hype from the community (although I can respect it), and I never see myself vaping again. Which is too bad, I really wanted to like this.
