Well now I'm all nervous. I am expecting my new LR stuff for my Riva today. Normally I would be excited for the mailman to get here, but now I'll proceed with caution. I guess I still give it a try cause the reg 510 on the riva isn't doing much but get me by.

Sounds like the LR atty messed it up.They sometimes pull to much power.It kills the batt.Lots of suppliers say not to use Egos and Rivas with LR attys.

Yet, they seem to send out package deals with LR atty's in them. Lol, silly vendors.

I wish we could see tests for different atty ohm ratings vs button circuit endurance. For example, "reg 510" can mean anything from 3.0 ohms to 2.5 ohms depending. LR can mean 1.5 ohm, or even 2.0 ohm. Bah.

I don't have a lot of experience with the ego stuff yet, but I ordered my mother an ego and she's using 2.5 ohm atties on it. Working well, and I am hoping it is sufficient. May go down to 2.0 ohms if necessary. I think I'll avoid 1.5 for her eGo kit. I think 1.5 is a little too hot anyway, particularly on my 3.6 v mods.

Shortly after starting to use atty's 901's the button fried on one of my Elegants. The dam thing would not shut off and then the button melted right out of it. I really now only use my SDMKll and it's all mechanical so I don't worry about it. I won't do any heavy vaping with an atty and any type of KR808 battery now or ever again. They just sit here and I test new juice in them

well my mailman came a bit ago - I did try the LR. It is so much better although if not meant for the Ego/Riva I guess I'll be looking into something it is meant for. Hmmmm sucks being on a budget LOL

That's because the current from the atty was more than the button switch was rated for and welded the contacts to stay on.
I don't know any 901 atty and Elegants statistics. I am going to assume that the resistance of the atty is too low for the battery or the atty has shorted or has decreased in resistance. You may want to measure the ohmage of the atty and voltage of the battery
