If you cleaned the contacts, and wiggled the connection pin up a little, then that would be the only thing left I could say to try. The blinking means No Atomizer Found. Sadly the only other options I can suggest it to head to a vape shop or order something online.

I think the flashing light indicates a shorted atty.
If you remove the atomizer and press the button what happens? Steady light? if so shorted atomizer.

that's what exactly happened. it'll become steady. omg! I think we have figured it out. :'(

My ego style batteries blinked if needing charging or if a short situation. One blinked and I found a little sliver of metal in the connector shorting it out. Worked fine after removing the sliver.

Now you need a new atomizer or look for the short in that one? Not sure what atomizer you have though.

What type of atomizer/coil/tank are you using on the Ego battery? A new one generally is only a couple of dollars, perhaps $7-8 for a 5 pack of the most common ones.

Any of the T2, CE4, Stardust, Evod, T3 clearomizers should work on there for ya.
If it has a replaceable coil you should be able to get those too.

Are you by any chance in SG?

The one I have on mine is Eigate Aspire K1 - EGO Glassomizer BVC
It uses the coils here Atomizer head for Aspire Clearomizers BVC

PHIL, not SG... It's not that easy to look for those parts here...

I have 6 of these as back up to my back ups - one of them bought new did this. I took it back to to the shop and the guy tested it and confirmed it was DOA. He advised that these were churned out by the thousands automatically each day and that effectively any quality control and testing was done by purchasers/customers. He replaced it without question. This was in Spain recently and the battery came in a blister pack with a clearatomiser and usb charger under the "Silver Cig" label - exceedingly popular brand for Ego sets and E Liquids here in Spain and stocked by most Estancos ( state licensed tobacconists )
