So I am sitting in my chair browsing the web and I start hearing a crackling sound. After looking around for a second, I notice the button on my Elite 808 is lit. It shut off as I reached for it (thank you auto cutoff). I took a quick toke on the carto, and yup, vapor. The batt wasn't even resting on the button. The button was actually facing up a little. What the....?
I already had trouble with this particular battery, as the end cap on the battery that houses the LED charge indicator lights came loose. This was because the most miniscule amount of glue possible was used on the production line. I just added some super glue and stuck it back in. The other battery is working beautifully BTW.
Of course, there is only a one week warranty on these things, and the warranty expired 20 minutes ago
I can say that the units have been performing well, despite the problems I have had. I really don't know what to think about this
