My experience with E-cigs and Blu so far.

Ok so with this Hoosier Vapes e-cig what I like and dislike. The vapor production isn't amazing and the taste is decent. I actually got some watermelon e-juice and mixed it in with the menthol that came with it and I gotta say that I like it a lot better than just either of the two by themselves. The throat hit is kinda harsh but way better than the Blu. The battery does seem very sturdy and solid. Since I just got it though I'll have to post later as far as how long they last. It may not be the best but way better than the Blu so far.

Ok and so the Blu cartomizers fit on this e-cig and the vapor production is amazing along with the taste. So yeah I don't know if it's just the juice I got or what but the Blu cartomizers and this battery go together really good. I'm gonna get some other blank cartomizers and some juice and let you guys know what happens.

Thanks for all the help guys. It looks like I have a lot of research to do and thanks to you guys again for making this much easier. My thing for having something discreet is that I still have issues smoking in a public place. Like the other day I was with a friend at Baskin Robbins and she just pulled out her E-cig and started puffin away. I however could not do that. I thought since the place had food it would not be appropriate. I know there's a lot of people out there who have no idea when it comes to e-cigs and vaping and I pretty much don't want to get cussed out by somebody who doesn't know that I'm not really smoking and that what I'm doing does not cause cancer and there are no second hand smoke issues with vaping. I did see the Rachel Ray video where she talks about E-cigs and how she's like Eww I don't even want to touch it, it's so gross and disgusting and I just don't want to have to explain myself every single time I go out in public. I would however be excited to explain to somebody who was actually interested in e-cigs it's just harder to do that when somebody is cussing you out or screaming at you. I will look up all the models everybody suggested and maybe go with a Tank for home use and maybe the Volt when I'm out in public.

One of the big advantages to models that do not look like the real thing, is that almost all of us have found that people are much more accepting of us vaping when it looks nothing like a cigarette. I think you will find more positive reactions when people do not visually confuse your PV with a cigarette.

Yeah, it's a standard 510 with what looks to be a "mega" 510 battery, probably about 300mah.

A definite improvement from the Blu, but not quite up to the kGo, or any bigger battery, level of performance. (BTW, what's with the ridiculous $65 price tag?)

As for vapor, you'll find that the vapor with the little batteries will wimp out pretty quickly, so you need to keep them topped up for best vapor production.

Save your pennies and by the time the batteries wear out, you'll probably be over your shyness about vaping and ready for a PV that doesn't look like a cigarette. Then, you can do a really significant upgrade.

BTW: What wv2win said. People are more accepting of something that doesn't look like a cigarette. Worst case scenario, you can tell any hostiles that it's a medical device. That always makes them go away.;)

Ok so what I got as far as vapor production it depends on the quality of the juice. I got some watermelon e-juice at the local tobacco shop and it does taste like watermelon but the flavor isn't amazing. Last night I ordered the lemon blueberry cotton candy along with candy apple and bubble gum from madvapes so hopefully those produce a little more vapor and taste a little better.

Hi I have been vaping for almost two years and I would definitely go with an ego at least a 650mah. When I first got my kit I thought" omg this looks weird and I just knew I couldn't get used to that" but I did now that one feels small and getting used to the button was strange but now it's second nature. The best part is because it doesn't light up at the bottom people have no idea what you are doing so they don't say anything! It's the best ecig I have had and I spent a lot of money trying to find one that would hold up all day. Then I went through the juice issue but I get mine at thevaporhut.com and it's wonderful. It only takes about one to two data to get it! It's the best juice I have had it has so much flavor! The girls there are so nice if I have a problem I can call their cell phone even at night and they will help me! I like that because I got tired of never getting a person just emailing! Good luck to you!

I had the same problem, the Blu kit was my first "e-cig" and I used to smoke 2 packs a day. I spent more time charging the BLU's than I did vaping, so in between charges I would smoke a few analogs and repeat. Flavor/vapor quality were unsatisfying as well. I said screw it and went back to analogs full time again. Well a friend of mine got me to purchase the Prodigy V3.1 from PureSmoker with BE112s last November and I haven't picked up an analog since.

Need to get away from the "cig looking type devices" and go to a more, larger higher-quality device. As a few posters mentioned before, eGo-T are pretty good for a REAL starter, but I hate the tanking system on them, they leak too much. Yet, you can use 510 cartomizers instead of the tank system and I use BUD 510 1.5ohm cartomizers and that's the sweet spot for me. Some prefer the 1.7/2.0 ohm carts and that works well too.

Remember, the lower the ohm/resistance, the warmer the vapor will be.

I can get about 4-6 hours of moderate vaping with the eGo's and by moderate, a few toots every 5-10 minutes.

I agree I hate the tank system! I had nothing but problems but I had the very first one and they have improved since then. I vape on my 1100 ego all day and I never put it down. I use that with the 306 atty 1.7 ohm or I use the dual coil tank and I love these because it hits good and taste good! So just get an ego kit then you can try all different accessories with it until you find what you like! But I agree you have to get away from the ones that look like cigs!!!

Ok so I got some juice from Madvapes and Blu, I got the Blu at a discount because I was having so much trouble with the ones I was buying from Walgreens. I ordered from Blu and then 2 days later ordered from Madvapes. I just got my Madvapes juice and still have not received my order from Blu. I ordered the lemon blueberry cotton candy, candy apple and and bubble gum and I'll use them for a while and get out a little review. So far I'm really liking the lemon blueberry cotton candy a lot.

im not even going to go into reasons why i hate the blu but i personally think its the worst ecig out their

My friend just sent his Blu kit back. I gave him one of my KGOs to try for a couple days and he could not believe how much better it was. I dont know if Blu is the worst but probably not far ahead.

I got a kit from a mall kiosk which was my introduction to the e-cig world. I QUICKLY switched up and bought myself a KGO and some smoktech dual coil cartomizers and have found a couple of juices I really love and stick with. Ahh...life is good ;)

Glad you like your kGo, I started with Blu then bought the kGo and I am happy with it, now it is time to upgrade to the Provari. I am still waiting for it.
