Thank you for all the encouragement and advice...

I have noticed 2 things over my near non stop vaping the last 2 days:

1. The menthol, spicy, minty juices I ordered that I like and have been using, are starting to wear thin already so I'm going to buy some different ones to mix them up.

2. The ce5 tanks I thought so much lol apparently don't hold up to well to continual use. I've sprung leaks, a couple gurgle really bad, and 1 just lost flavor and completely quit putting out anything. So i'm off to find a few better tanks that will fit on the ego-T 510 batteries I have.

Evod single coils are nice. I like the CE4's better than the CE5's.

Congrats on your transitioning to the healthier lifestyle of former smokers. I can only iterate the mentioned above on having a second tank with a higher nic for the strong cravings. It took me 3 months to get to vaping exclusively. A lot of people do need to go slowly and some are lucky enough to quit cold turkey. Don't forget, only count the ones you don't smoke :D Any questions, do not hesitate to ask. Happy Vaping!!!! :vapor:

ahhh feelin the love lol :)

You never know just how much a crutch something is until you try to get rid of it!!!

Considering the tank problems I did the same amount, 23 yesterday. I fully believe that it is the action I crave more than the actual cigarette because they are just getting tasteless.

DingerCPA...I have a 650mah and 1100mah ego-T battery with the 510 thread. Any suggestions would be great!!

In the picture below I have my vape journey. CE-5 (disposable in my opinion), Aspire ET-S (eGo threaded, glass tank, decent, replaceable coils), Smok micro coil BDC (eGo threaded, my favorite cheap plastic tank, has adjustable airflow, replaceable coils, hits nice but only 1.2 ml capacity), Nautilus Mini on Spinner 2 (510 threaded using the beauty ring, my first great tank, had to turn the spinner up a lot to fully appreciate the Mini), iStick 50W (can grow into sub ohm tanks) with Nautilus Mini. (very nice balance fully optimizing the Nautilus Mini).

Good luck.

I purposely set aside a week to make the transition from smoking to just vaping. I knew I'd have cigarette cravings, so I had just one pack of smokes left for the week.

I allowed myself a half of a cigarette for the really bad cravings. That turned out to be about 4 cigarettes total for the first 3 - 4 days. Smoked half, put it out, saved the second half for the next craving.

As the week went on, I definitely noticed that I wasn't getting the same "satisfaction" from the cigarettes, and especially from those "second half" smokes. By the end of the week, that pack of cigarettes was gone, and I never felt the urge to buy another.

imnoangel the Aspire ET-S is an eGo threaded glass tank with replaceable coils. The battery shown in the pic with that tank is a typical eGo/510 threaded battery. The eGo threads are on the outside, and the 510 threads are on the inside of the top of the battery. If it is similar to the one on the far left of this pic it will work.

All three batteries here are threaded the same. (the rubber band is just to identify the juice flavor)

Imnoangel, I've heard good things about the aspire et-s. It will thread on the outside (ego threads). Never used one, but I've seen lots of great comments. I used a lot of evod tanks (not glass) before I transitioned to Kanger Protank 2s. They use the same head as my evods. I got a couple of nautilus tanks, but besides being a bit top heavy, your batteries will strain to work well. Otherwise it's a great tank.

Sent from.... ooh look! Something shiny!!!

Good luck... I've been very fortunate and have not had a Marlboro Menthol for 10-days since I started vaping. But I have had a few cravings!

I'm using the Halo Triton and a variety of menthol and mint flavors... Still experimenting to see which flavors I like best, but have not gone back to an analog cigarette.
I'm using 12 mg nicotine level, but plan to drop to 6 mg in my next juice purchase. Possibly to 0 mg after that, but we'll see.

I love the clean taste of the vapor compared to real cigarettes!

So how has your second day vaping been Imnoangel? Better or worse?

I actually did pretty good yesterday, only smoked 18...but today has just been crazy. Fridays are my most busiest, craziest day of the week. I'm on the go from about 5:30am till about 5pm so I put my little pack together with my extra battery and my last 2 full tanks that aren't cracked etc and I had the one I'm using. I'm doing my thing vapin away no problems. I go pick my 5 y/o niece up about 10 and as she's crawling into my car she kicks the one I'm using and snaps the tank clean off the battery sending juice everywhere. No problem I got my back ups. Get the juice cleaned up thats splattered all over my car, open up the pack to get another one out and lo and behold one of the tanks has leaked out completely, all over the pack, battery, the other tank. I cleaned the other tank as best I could, I'm using it now, but some of the leaked juice must have gotten into the drip tip in the little hole the vapor comes out of as its gurgling and carrying on lol.

Soooo I am looking at different online vape shops to find a couple of better glass tanks with the replaceable bottom coil. Hopefully I can get my order in tonight and it will ship in the morning.

On a good note, even with the craziness of the day and the continual tank breakdowns I only smoked 26. Yes worse than the last 3 days, but still better than my norm.

I'll get it together one of these days lol;)

It took my about 1 week. I suggest strong nic content based on what you are trying to leave. Even as high as 36MG for a short bit. When you get the feeling under control and step down to 24g, then 18 is where I leveled off at 4 weeks. Congrats on trying.

If you don't smoke in your house I think if you vape in your house your chances improve.

You can do it imnoangel. Another issue I found after getting off the cigs was that my taste buds changed considerably. The better thank you get the better the flavor and also the better delivery system for the nicotine. I went from strong flavors to sweet fruits to cremes and tobacco's and fruits and cremes... it never ends (or so I am experiencing).

I remember going into my first vape store and showing the lady I was using the CE 5's. (at the time I thought they were great) She looked at it and said, "You'll throw it away." Kinda shocked me, I liked it...till I got a better tank. She was right. I progressed through 3 inexpensive (under 10) tanks before I got my nautilus mini, and I still use it even though I have a sub ohm tank now also.

Good luck, you'll get off the cigs.
