Really neat man! I have not yet tried a stove top coil. What gage wire? wick? hows it hitting? I stick with a standard micro coil in a kayfun. You think I could get a stove top into a kayfun?
never used a kayfun i just got my first mech and 2 rda's not even 2 weeks ago lol.
i used 24 gage kanthal and it rips lol, i got a dual coil set up on my stillare at 0.27 ohms and my little cyclone can hit almost as fat with that stove top, oh and i used sterile cotton clouds a small one behind and another small one under it.

Your ohm meter makes a great little building base. Try that next time.

yea i had alot of fun with it and knowing i can do it myself now and wont have to pay my local shop 5.99 to do a build for me is nice lol
been watching a lot of rip trippers videos and i hang out at my local shop a lot! all but 1 i know and know me by name.
i wanna try a crazy one next but not sure what lol

i got a sony vtc5 18650
I have a vtc4 wonder if I could pull that off? Did you happen to use RipTrippers tutorial on youtube? that was the one I was going to use and you have inspired me to break out the stillare and give it a go.
yea i watched his video, didnt have a needle like he did but i had a really small allen key with a flat metal end that fits in a screw driver handle. i just did a single on my cyclone though so it was lower 2 of them and you'll be in the ballpark of 0.80 - 1.00 and i started at a really low ohms for the throat hit and warmer vape.
when i do my stillare im gonna try either the dual parallel or the twisted 28g lol
edit: as far as batteries go i only have the one sony vtc5 cause after reading stuff on here its the only battery i wanted to use and wating for my local shop to get more in should be any day now, sucks only having 1 battery lol
yeah i only have 1 vtc4 the rest are 20a efest. They arent all to terrible but don't even compare to the sony. Thanks for the tips man, I will let you know how it goes

wow.. the shop I normally go to, Artisan Vapor Company, charges nothing for mods, builds, etc. They will happily accept tips, though not necessary. Lol. From coil builds to attys drilled, not a penny is charged! I love that place!! I spend good money there so I don't feel too bad if I ask for a couple holes drilled for free. Lol
