My First Carto

Just got my KR808 XL from V4L. Excellent! I also got a pack of 555 cartomizers and a complimentary carto of Chardonnay. (Thanks!)

The 555 tastes pretty good. Not my favorite flavor but not bad! It is reminding me of something that I can't quite recall!

Using the carto is different for me, coming from my 510/mostly VG experience. At first, every puff damn near made me cough up a lung! Not sure what that was about. I also got an instant headache for a very brief time and then it went away. I assume that was the PG talkin.

There is loads of flavor but not alot of vapor, which at first, was a bit disconcerting. After a while, though, I got used to the draw and it seems decent enough now. I've viewed the condom/Taryn spin video so I'll be looking forward to refilliing my first carto with juice I like.

I tried the 555 because it sounded like a nice mellow tobacco flavor and it's pretty good if maybe a little too sweet. The other flavor I'd like to try eventually is RY4. I love my candy and fruit flavors but I also want just a basic, not so sweet tobacco flavor. Rich and kinda woodsy.

All in all, big kudos to V4L!!!

Glad you like, it'll get better. Did you buy regular or premium carts? Premiums have crazy amount of vapor, but since your used to VG you're used to a crapload of vapor. What made ya switch to carts

Well, I haven't switched, exactly. I just wanted to try them out because filling the 510 carts was getting so frustrating. Since I ordered, though, I've kinda found my groove with the 510s but I still wanted to try out cartos as maybe an option for on the go vaping.

I only ordered the regular carts. I guess I'm just gonna have to order premium, huh?

I was thinking of trying the RY4 but I've recently read that it's kinda sweet. Anyone know of a more woodsy, smokey flavored, not so sweet tobacco flavor I should try?

Cowboy is smokey and most resembles analogs, I think. Marl or Winston? I don't know about woodsy, but smokey, yes.

To me RY4 tastes woodsy, smokey, roasted marshmallow-y, sort of. But it has some sweetness to it...

just got my PV and carts today. and i can say too that every single drag i take makes me cough the hardest ive ever coughed lol. but ive been told by other members that you get used to it after awhile. hopefully soon lol.

I don't do tobacco flavors any more but when I did, I found Hilton to be very smooth.

You can try their "tobacco sampler pack" which has five different samples in it.

Green label Parlament is a good tobacco flavor, too. Neutral, vapable and not sweet. Just make sure you get the green cartomizers, NOT BLUE. They are much harsher; and bitter.

I was actually smoking swisher sweet cigarettes for the past couple of years instead of regulars. And yes, they are kinda sweet but I find that vaping makes things too sweet. So.... I may have to try a cuban! Thanks for the link!

I'll +1 on the Cuban Cigar. It's probably my "go to" flavor when everything else tastes "off."

Cuban Cigar taste very similar to a cigar. I found the Virginia to be very woodsy and smokey, not too sweet.

I just hit a cuban cigar and a cherry on 2 manuals at the same time...pretty nice.

You might want to try the Premium Tobacco Sampler #2. Myself I like 555 but I'm not that big into the Tobacco flavors. I also really liked French Pipe......seemed really smooth.
