I'm Still fairly new m'self, but I'll shed some light from my point of view.

I started my PV switch over 02/11/10 (Last Thursday).

I stormed the boards and did several hours of reading, research, newb video revies, you name it.

I came to the conclusion(personally) that the 510 was the best way to go. Everyone said it was fairly easy to handle, but it did have a few quirks to work on. So you get some experience with the atty, refilling carts, charging batteries, and also using a passthrough (if you choose to use one) the passthrough, if you aren't yet aware is a USB pluggin style adaptor that doesn't require you to waste batteries while at home on the computer (YAY!) As far as the quirks, well each atty can bring a different flavor to the table (meaning problems and literally flavors, lol)

I love this thing.
My first order was like this.

Joye 510
(Including)
5 prefilled carts with tobacco flavoring and 18mg nic.
wall charger
2 rechargable batteries (manuals, so dripping is possible)
2 atty's
(extra)
my usb passthrough, and now extra atty's, batteries, and some blank carts to fill with the juices I purchased.

It's a small learning curve, but I tell ya what it's a great little unit. I was a fairly quick study on this baby and have gotten past most of the "burnt smell/flavor" and of course relearning how to properly draw on a PV.

Now others may say different, but that's the beauty of this place.

G'luck in your choices, and I hope this helps!

I started out with a 901 but wished I would have gotton a 510 right from the start.

Two weeks into vaping, I did get a 510 and am much happier. So, I agree with the majority.

The 510 have mega chargers and at least 1 vendor I know of sells a 5 in 1 Charger for the 510 batteries which I LOVE! I carry around (10) 510's in my leather zippered cigarette case at all times now. Mega batteries last longer by a couple of hours.

510's also have a personal charging case that will re-charge your e-cig and carry your atomizer and cartridge. Those are nice to slip in your purse and charge 1 and vape 1 - then switch.

Lots of options with the 510's.

I see you're in the UK so you have slightly more limited options but check out UK E-Smokers - E-Cigarette Forum for lots of local info about good suppliers in your region and fave kits to use.
Anything 'the same size' as a cigarette btw will be a little too small to be that useful to you. What you think you want and what you actually need are probably slightly different :)
Check out http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...pdated-pictures-most-common-e-cig-models.html in The ECF Library - E-Cigarette Forum and see what I mean.
Good luck to ya!

    Somewhere between here and there
I would recommend getting something with a longer lasting battery and then get some 510 attys to start. The 510 batteries don't last long and I think that you like many of us did will get tired of charging them all of the time. With as cheap as adapters are now, you could get some different attys to try on the same unit to figure out what you like.

I also recommend a 510. Totally Wicked sells white ones, and they have a UK shop. But none of the ones you mention really look like a real cigarette, even if white. More like high-end pens. The KR808d-1 has much more of a cig look, and the batts last longer than the 510. But there is less vapor and general hit quality...although some say the flavor is better with a KR8. Its a 2-piece system with a cartomizer that holds more juice than a 510 too.

Most people get a PCC charging case with their 510. It will charge regular batts 4 times before it needs to be recharged, so that is many hours vaping on the go. TW also sells mega batts which last almost 2x as long as regs.

There is a real reason why everyone is recommending the 510, though. It is less expensive, and the 510 atty is a real warkhorse of vapor production. I would recommend that over the 801 or 901, but those do have longer batt life. Whatever you choose there will be pros and cons, and a learning curve...and you'll probably want to try other models down the road, so jump in, you will be happy with any of the ones you listed. :)

    Another 510 advocate here :)

A great start would be the cignot no-box kit, it's $35 and gives you 2 batteries, 2 atomizers, 5 carts and a wall charger. I'm a <5 a day light smoke-for-pleasure kind of guy too, and the 510 really works for me. Get a few bottles of juice and you'll be set for awhile. Check it out <<Cignot your Midwest Electronic Cigarette store.
