Hi there, Alan again .. not enough posts to put this where it really belongs :(

My first do-it-yourself 'screwdriver' or flashlight mod ???? Aluminum 3-piece body, momentary switch, 510 connector, 18500 LiIon battery. No LED on this one, couldn't figure out an attractive place to put one. :D As with my boxmod, it vapes nicely.

Made entirely of recycled parts. Cost: $0.00 ... that's possibly the best part of all

Alan

Very nice.. Any chance on a how to for your setup?

Basically, this is a 3-pc triple-aaa flashlight. The nice thing about it was the removable head. The other nice thing is that a 18500 liion fits perfectly (I am using a 14500 with a sleeve right now)

I gutted the head and did all my work in that one section. Replaced the click switch with a momentary one

Mounted a 510 battery connector where the leds used to be (note the little wire: it is to get a good ground from the connector to the case)

Replaced the original battery connector (just a little metal head) with a battery spring I had left over from my boxmod

Topped it off with a washer

Little drops of super glue gel here and there and Bob's Your Uncle.
Also, I got a washer that lets me use a510 to 801 adapter, so by recessing the 510, I am able to screw in a 801 adapter and make it look like it was made that way :)

Very inspirational asnider123. When I first started vaping I was after the look and feel of an analog. 2 weeks into it now and I don't really care what it looks like as long as it works. Someone in these forums said something that rings true for me and that is I traded my addiction to analog to a eCig hobby. It's incredible.. Still addicted to the nicotine though LOL.
