My first homebrewed mods

This is my first post on here. I've been hanging out in the open chat and watching vids. I am really starting to enjoy this hobby. Here are my first 2 mods. Flashlight mods. I used the bottom switch as a momentary switch to keep a clean feel to the device and 510-Ego connectors on top. So what do you think. How can I make them better?

Ascetically speaking; with your toppers, something that brings the flat top coned up to the atty would be cool.

I remember the cisco laser mod. I used to own one a while back. I gave it to a friend who was interested in vaping. Those flashlight mods look pretty cool. How long did it take you to make them?

The first one took about a day, the second a little over 2 hours because I had to fix something first to make everything fit together nicely.

Very nicely done!! Nothing tastes better than the first vape off a mod you built yourself.
You need to check out the Modders - Battery Mods section for more ideas...

Can't tell for sure from the picture, but there should be some vent holes drilled somewhere for safety.

the bottom is just plastic with a silicone push button. I was hoping that would be enough for safety concerns. If anything happened, it should just shoot out the bottom or so I was hoping. What do you think?

If the bottom isn't glued or epoxied in, you're probably right....if you use IMR batteries (the kind that don't flame when they fail..) it sounds like a safe setup. Plastic should fail rather easily....

you are correct, no epoxy on the bottom, and right now I am using IMR's, but also I probably wont make a coil less than .8ohms just to be safe on the drain. I use efest batteries and know they are safe to about 7 amps maxing at 10. unfortunately I was running my dripper a little too dry and burned up my last coil, so to really test these I have to wait till I get new wire and rebuild my coil.
