After researching and researching and then researching some more I wanted a reliable company for my first mech. and finally pulled the trigger on a precise ELA and I've been considering it for a wile so good reliable company U.S.A made lifetime warrantee it all added up.
I hope they start shipping soon because I'm way behind the order process and can't wait.

Great choice and welcome to the club! I'm hoping to get my shipping notice very soon. Can't wait for the ELA! Now David just needs to hurry up with the dna controller and hybrid atty, and it may just be the last mod I'll ever need!

Edit: although I as well am thinking of getting a Reo, and Fluid's cyborg is tempting as well. I love the idea of the crossover mod, half mech/ half VW via dna 20 and 100% bad-@$$!

Wow, this looks like the mack daddy of ALL mech mods!

I looked long and hard at this..but that tapered bottom with the bottom button means it's not very stable when standing up. I use genesis rbas and they have to be upright. That was a deal breaker for me. I'm sure they will be nice and I would love to have a supertmfg device, but the form factor isn't right for my vaping style.

Yep, that was the deal breaker for me too. I use mainly genesis and dripper RBAs so having to place my mod on its side is a big no no. I find the bottom button design a very weird choice honestly ... given that mechanicals have become popular again BECAUSE of those style atomizers.

Other than that ... I really dig the ELA.

I love my Original P18...myabe cause it's manufactured right here in Minnesnowduh or that it's just a great device that has taken abuse (not intentionally) and still performs like new. The ELA is a beautiful mod but I keep telling myself to not invest in another mod cause 1 is enough for me to keep it simple but Super T Mfr really knows how to tempt me into investing in a new P+ 18650 and an ELA and the Shockwave...GAAAH!!!!

Super T Mfr dun did it to me, they dun got me hooked to their devices...the waiting periods is the best part cause once you get the device, you be all like...YAY!!!

Actually that picture reinforces my decision to not buy this..that tiny tapered bottom makes it look like its ready to topple over any second. I've talked to others who sold their precises for just this reason. But then I see others who say it's not a problem. I can't spend almost $200 only to find this is a problem for me.

Believe me ...with superts reputation, this would have been my first choice.

Im jealous of all this ela talk. Im starting off cheap with the mechanicals. Even though theu should be cheap. Sigelei is on the way. I decided on a side fire with a flat top long ago. Which sadly ruled out the ggs and kamrys. Which I do think look nice. Anyone found a flat top adapter for those? Oh, and topic specific the ela is a spectacular looking mod.

Which explains my little wink. I was thinking us ELA users could get together and play Battle Tops - they look like they will spin nicely :)

Actually, Super-T mentioned that this angle was a bit deceptive and that it is more stable than it looks, more stable than some of their other devices even - which may not be saying enough.

I saw a Precise in the classys the other day and Pm'd the seller just to ask why he was selling.. he said that he had problems keeping it standing upright and had concerns because he had preordered an ELA. When I was looking for my first mech, I wanted so bad to get the ELA, although I know now that I would have had to wait way too long LOL. I think the shockwave had a flat bottom and that would have been nice. Supert has been around since before I started vaping.. I looked at the Precise when I was looking to upgrade from my mall kit (someone recommended them) and I know that they have a solid reputation. If they ever come out with a mod that meets all of my criteria I'll buy without hesitation.

Yeah, a separate control head to replace the existing top cap. The dna module will have its own buttons, so it will come with a flat cap to replace the bottom switch. That should dispel any worries of it toppling, at least once the dna is out for it.

Pretty sure they themselves have stated that it's still not very stable though.

The diameter was the killer for me, lord knows why they can't just make 22mm devices like normal people.
