Well after lurking for a while I decided to start off with an oldie but goodie. I present to you my first mod! Many thanks go out to Nicowolf whose step by step made this thing a breeze, along with all the other helpful people with soldering/wiring/everything tips along the way.

Used the size M DC coaxial hookup so I could buy everything locally (fits 901 atty) Also managed to come across a 2 AA battery box at Radio Shack that had an on/off master switch, but came with an attached LED that I just cut off for future use somewhere else.

Now to only find a couple 14500 batteries and a charger that won't take me forever to get and I'll be set!

Well, I don't yet know how I'm going to manage it and it may take a few mini projects between now and the final product, but my imagination has me wanting to build something that meets the following criteria:

1) Long battery life, along with in case charging. I never want to change batteries, probably some form of a usb pass through/charger. Still plan on using the 14500 protected batteries, seem to be the best size.

2) Efficient e-liquid dripping mechanism, if I can find the shape of bottle i want I'd like to get a reservoir of around 8-10 ml (I only go through around 2ml per day so I'm shooting for around 5 days without NEEDING to refill)

3) Water and shock resistant casing material. I'm an avid fisherman, I don't want anything dying on me because it gets a little damp or dropped in the bottom of the boat lol

4) And the hardest part, I want all of this to be in a box that easily fits in the palm of my hand. No offense or disrespect to anyone meant, but I have no desire to look like I'm sucking on a pipe bomb, it's just not for me.

Big dreams, and all that is a long way off as I have a LOT to learn yet, I'll certainly be posting anything I am working on :)
