So I have been dabbling here and there with DIY for a little bit. Soaking analogs in PGA or vg, adding candy flavors to other flavors I have using natural extraction techniques I know from home brewing, and what not. I broke down and bought a few different sample packs from PA, and finally I have made my first, from scratch, DIY juice (sans nic). I made....SMORES!!!! I am in love with the flavor that I made, just wish it had some nic (buying some soon) Anyways without anymore delay, here is what it boiled down too. I didnt keep real good notes, but I wish I would of. In a 6ml bottle I added 10 drops of gram cracker, 20 drops of toasted marshmallow, and 10 drops of bittersweet. In about a 20/80 vg/pg ratio (I eye balled it, I know, I should really do things more scientifically). Then I shook it up real good under hot tap water, a gave it a vape. It tasted weak and "off" at that point, so I added a few more drops of gram cracker and toasted marshmallow, which I did not count. Still tasted like it was missing something, so I looked in my sample packs and found that I had hazel nut. I figured what the hell, and added a few drops, gave it a few shakes gave it another vape, and BOOM, right on the money. This is the best thing since sliced bread. I didnt even give it time to steep and I have vaped though it. I added it to a mint flavor that I have to get some nic thoughout the day, and with the mint it taste like you made a smore out of a andes mint candy. So yep, going to love DIY and learning as I go.

Thanks, I wish I could give a real recipe of how much of what I used, but I was just flying by the seat of my pants.

I have another thread around here from the other day. My best tasting juice was made on the fly, adding this, adding that. Recipes I followed never tasted good.

Woo Hoo! Congrats on your first DIY success! It is fantastic to mix up something on the fly and have it taste really good to you. Best part is, you're just getting started. The fine details will come as you move forward. Sounds like you have a pretty good handle on what and how much you used for this first mix. Duplication shouldn't be too hard. Keeping notes is key. DIY really is liberating in a sense that there's no more panic when the juice runs low. Just mix up some more. Lay in a good supply of base liquids along with some assorted flavors and you're set for many months to come.
