I just rebuilt my Smoktech Octopus last night, using 6 wraps of what turned out to be 28 ga wire. I hooked the rda onto my ACE to get a ohm reading and it read .9 ohms.

So I dripped a bit of MBV Amaretto, screwed it onto my Bolt with a purple Efest 35 amp batt, took a couple of hits, and it turned out that I have to drip every other hit--and the hits were too strong for me to handle.

This goes to show that subohming is not for me. Next build will be ranging from 1.2-1.5 ohm. Low resistance is this flavor junkie's cup of tea kind of vape.

Nic level to high!
Likely Air Flow to Low
Coil structure or position

Both will cause harshness and completely ruin what may be a build. Before judging what you will like, learn more about how everything works together.
Whether you are Vaping at 3.0ohms or .4ohms, if all aspects of the build are correct and your Flavor choice is good for the build the vape will be enjoyable.

When I hear -.8ohms is way to hot - I immediately realize something in the build or technique is incorrect. Heat should always be controllable. Same probably goes for lower ohm builds.

Have fun, learn and most of all Be Safe. :)

If you measured it with a regular DMM, most don't have a set zero to null out test lead resistance - so maybe about 0.3 Ohms of that is your test leads.
