I thought you would get a kick out of this ... I tried my hand at a wooden boxmod .. I've been really wanting to try my hand at it .. there are so many beautiful ones out there. My design included the Poorvari variable voltage circuit, dual 18350 cells, 801 atty, bottom feed. I really got pumped!

Well, I started with some really nice 1/4" thick Bubinga (African Rosewood), cut all the parts and assembled the box on my workbench. It looked like, well, a BOX! Just a darn BOX! I might as well make a small jewelry box! I was totally disillusioned and tore the thing apart.

My grandson, Andrew, saw the pile of rosewood rectangles and asked if he could have them. I said "sure!" Look what he made!





Yes, it's a bubinga airplane ;):D:)
