I almost always hear this from 510 users. well that and Screwdriver users but SD users are normally vets and know the around bouts. If your using the 510 you should be use to using more juice. It's a vaping machine and yet small (which explains the short battary life). there could be a few others on the market that act as so but as the above stated. 2-6ml is normal pre day. Also when your starting vaping you;ll often find your self overvaping way more then you need to try and fill the void that was once tobacco. This will go away with time or at least it did for me. i started at 4ml a day and now i'm at 2ml a day. Another thing to consider is MG% i would say 24mg is about the norm. so if you have some 6mg then your really not getting near the nicotine you would your old cigg's
hope this helps

I'm using about the same amount of juice as you then so I guess Im ok. I need to see if e-smokeytreats has larger bottles. There is definately alot of prep and maintenance involved but its way better than smoking analogs even though its easier (grab one and light it up...period. Im getting use to my mini and it sounds like im doing ok with the juice. I just wanted to make sure I wasnt wasting my juice.

i use about 10 ml a day.
Dripping that is.

So, in order to really see if its cheaper to smoke analogs or vape I would have to see how much I spend in juice every month. I smoke a pack to a pack and a half a day of analogs....so that would be 8.00 min per day times 30 days...$240 a month. How much do you spend on average on juice?

I go through about 4ml of juice per day, so figuring an average of $1 per ml of juice, delivered cost, would run to about $120 per month.

Then there's cartridges-- I don't re-stuff the 801s so that's about $15 per month.

Batteries would be about $15 per month on average.

Atomizers also maybe $15 per month.

Total estimate: $165 per month to vape. Of course, this doesn't take into account the start-up costs of e-cig kits, pass-throughs, PCCs, etc.

Your Mileage May Vary...

Thats still a good deal. I really am impressed by how easy the transition was from analogs to e-cigs. It was effortless. I got the high octane cherry juice and I just vape like I would an analog. Whenever I feel I need a "smoke" i just vape and my cravings go away. Im very carefull to take care of my dse901 mini: I top off, clean the atty by blowing it out and everything seems to be perfect. I know occasionally I will have to replace attys and batteries but this little rig sure works like a charm. I need to find a place that sells large bottles of juice, I imagine there more cost effective than buying the 15ml bottles. I need to find a supplier that sells good quality juice cause I dont want to clog my atty. Im thinking about buying some sort of fiber to replace what comes with the carts i order. Got any ideas on what works good? Ive heard of tea bags and fluval fiber. I know you dont re-stuff but have you done that in the past? I love when I put a fresh battery with a full atty for my first hit in the morning...totally satisfying. I guess Im doing OK for now. Im totally happy vaping and all the info here really helps me understand how to do this right and keep my PV running in tip top performance. So far I've not experienced any negatives. Thanks for your input. I think I'm on the right track.... : )

I re-stuff 510 carts with the Lipton Pyramid tea bag material and it works pretty well.

Here's a good video by forum member Bama Vapor showing how it's done:

Have you ever used that fluval stuff? You find that the tea bags really hold enough juice? It would seem that a fiberous type material would work better. I was just wondering if you had tried both. : )

I've never tried the fluval stuffing. Most members on the forum seem to prefer the tea bags so that's what I went with. Besides, the tea bags were easy to find-- if I need a box, I just grab it when I'm buying coffee.

The carts hold maybe a drop of two more juice than a new blank cart. I stuffed a cart with half of a bag once, just folding it in half and then rolling it. It held 20 drops, more than anything else I've tried, but I haven't been able to duplicate it since without it leaking out into the atomizer. Guess I had some thicker juice at that time...
