Went to the doctors to get a blood test and was looking around while the nurse was doing her thing when I had the GREATEST IDEA !! [maybe you won't think so or have found something better .. still thought I would share .. ..

On the counter was a box and in the box was custom made styrofoam packaging ... It is about 8 inches by 5 inches and holds 50 or more thin glass vials .. It is only maybe 3/4 of an inch tall.

What I do with it is fill it full of cartriges and fill the carts with them inside .. then cap the carts .. .IT IS WORKING GREAT !!

This is what my .45 caliber bullets are packed into, when purchased....but not 5o rounds.

I took a cheapo Styrofoam ice chest (my dog food comes in one of these every 2 weeks. I have tons!) but I think they're like $5 at the convenience stores.

Used the electric knife for carving turkey, and cut a slab the size I like.

Got a pair of needle nosed pliers, held onto a 16p nail. Heated the head of the nail, and touched it to the Styrofoam. Melted a perfect size hole. I made 6 rows. (flavor by row) Melted is nice cause the inside is nice and hard and no foam gets in the tip of the carts. He tried drilling holes in one and it was messy.

It works great and fits in my cabinet with my refilling bowl bowl and case.

I can kick out 30 carts in no time and hubby is all set for work for several days. (He doesn't like to take liquid with him to work)

I also made a tiny square for each of us for our desks (no kids in the house) with 4 holes to set attys in to drain overnight or when we flood them.

My husband made me the same kind of thing with a block of wood. Just drilled different size holes to hold the different sized carts. I just pop the empty carts in their appropriate hole, line them up and refilling is a breeze! 401 carts go in the front (smallest holes), 801 carts in the center holes (biggest holes), then 510 or 901 carts are the back line of holes. He put a coat of finish on the wood so any spill wipes right up. It took him all of about 30 minutes to make this little jewel up and has saved me tons of time!

It is made from Styrofoam .. Hard styrofoam .. I think stronger than a cooler. I should measure it .. the holes are maybe 10-15mm .. I drop in my carts .. juice flavor by row and leave them in the styrofoam holder while I put the caps on the carts. NO MESS !

Great idea..... I have been using the center hole in my scotch tape dispenser. It holds 3 of my M401 carts and then I can pop on the attys real easy. But I sure could use a larger system for my other carts. Thanks, next time I'm at the doctors office, I will see if they will part with one.

Spare me.
I work with plenty of med techs who are more in the 80K range.
But they are not union.
Wow! That is fantastic! I should move there and work as a tech instead! I could work under a doctor or nurse and make the same $$$. They must have a real shortage out there to pay them so high. Very cool:rolleyes:

You know, I had mentioned that very idea to my supplier. You should consider a patent for it and mass produce it out of a spongey type of plastic.....the type they use for drill bits. It would be great for on the road refill time. It sure would sell out. :w00t:
