Yes....get some good fluids in you. I have a real issue with soda...infact it is next inline to change after I am steady on my vaping.
I normally would drink...atleast... 12+ cans of soda a day. Now mind you...I drink diet, but still.... thats horrible.

I constantly would feel bad. Body ached, always felt thirsty, light headed sometimes, and just generally no energy once I started vaping again.

I changed the soda down to about 3 to 4 cans a day, and the rest water with the mio (or generic) mixers.
It has made a HUGE difference in how I feel everyday.

I also bought some DIY items and made a few batches of 5ml bottles of Menthol E-juice at various strenghts.
I have found I like the 24mg. As time goes on, I am trying to lower that every few months.

You can also buy sample kits with various strenght, or you can take what you have and cut it to a lower strength.

So many options...

Yep. Another heavy lung person here.

Don't like the PG so much so I've been doing 30/70 vg/pg (6mg). Vaped about 3 -4 mls the other night (while drinking too much with my brother who was visiting from out of town.

Next day I felt like I had smoked 3 packs of my old Camel Blues. Scratchy throat, heavy lungs, cough, wheezy etc. I'm not coming off analogues either. I vape to replace the occasional analogue binge I would have with friends at a party or something.

Seems even worse than with a heavy night of anlogues.

I've had the heavy lung and/or scratchy throat issue too. VG caused heavier lungs and congestion, PG caused more throat irritation. What I ended up with was 50/50 mixes or 60/40 heavier on the VG side. I now get 0 throat irritation, and some occasional congestion in the back of my throat which is easy to clear. When I feel that, I drink more water and it thins considerably. As annoying as it is, it's far better than hacking up brown stuff like when I was smoking.

Really?

I thought the whole point was to inhale?

Does everyone do the whole mouth nasal thing?

I inhale. I fill my mouth first then inhale. But I also play with the way the previous poster said. Just try different ways and whatever works for you. I don't think there is any wrong or right way. If lungs hurt, don't inhale into them, if nasal passages hurt, don't use them while vaping.

Most do not direct inhale. Those that inhale at all are mostly mouth inhale first, like smoking a cigar or drinking a milkshake. Fill the mouth first, then inhale if you're going to. Others never inhale. You don't need to inhale, most of the nicotine is absorbed through the mouth and nose anyway....... I do both. I had Strep a few months ago, didn't bother me at all... I didn't need to inhale.

Industry standards are 70/30 or 80/20 PG/ VG.

Vapoor, I'm thinking of trying a little PG in my juice.

Have you noticed the *difference* between 80/20, 70/30, and 50/50? I know that is subtle, but
I also know you've been vaping for a while and might be able to calibrate that for me. :)

The problem is, I can taste PG. I don't think I am allergic to it, but I notice it if it's in my juice. Wondering if 30/70 would relieve some of the heavy chest feelings I'm getting or if I'd have to go more PG to get that?

I'd try 60% VG and see if that helps.

Then there's that. :)

I'm still trying to FIND a few all day vapes. Now fiddlin' around with the pg/vg ratios is going to drive me to either the madhouse or the poorhouse. :)

Interesting you would mention diet soda. My massage therapist has actually done a survery on this........her patients on diet soda are very very muscle achy. She said she has studied this effect for 12 years now. So she started getting them off diet soda with the artificial sugar......and their aches went away.

I'm like you redddog I thought you were suppose to inhale. Today is my 6th day off of analogs. Everytime I use my E-Cigg it hurts my throat and burns. Starting to get a tad bit frustrated wondering what I need to do. I've been reading so much here and have learned a lot. I believe it all comes down to the type of E-Cigg and the PG/VG. I bought the starter kit EGO-Q wondering if I should try something else?

Today is my 7th day off of analogs. I changed the nicotine level went from 24mg down to 12mg. No more burning in my throat or lungs, and no more headaches. Hope you soon find your perfect level.

Hi Racehorse and nice to hear from you.
Vapoor, I'm thinking of trying a little PG in my juice.
Have you noticed the *difference* between 80/20, 70/30, and 50/50? I know that is subtle, but
I also know you've been vaping for a while and might be able to calibrate that for me.

I began @ 70/ 30 PG/ VG and then moved to 60/40 PG/ VG because I had read VG was a healthier ingredient. When I went down to 2 mg nicotine I wasn't getting TH and Lung Hit so I upped my ratio to 90/ 20 PG/ VG knowing that PG is an irritant and can enhance TH. I then had issues with the PG heavy ratio so I ordered some twists and am back to vaping 60/ 40 VG @ 4.2 volts on a 2.4 ohms Mini Vivi Nova. I can now feel the TH and in fact will be changing my ratio to 30- 40 PG/ 70/ 60 VG. Will let you know how it is.
I have a convert/ friend who had chest heavy issues with 100% (was sensitive to PG). After much mixing we found he could comfortably vape 25/ 75 PG/ VG without heavy chest and PG issues.
I would consider ordering a small quantity of flavorless nic juice, PG and VG and start mixing different ratios without flavoring. That's how I did it for my friend because I was just focused on keeping him off the analogs without him having any PG/ VG issues.
