i want someone to tell me if its worth 4 times what a t3 cost. otherwise i am not gonna jump in just yet.

Kelli, for me it is well worth the price, think I got them for $18.50 or so. Especially worth it compared to the T3 for me as the many T3's I have are sitting in a drawer and will most likely never be used again as they were nothing but trouble.

For right now I love the Protank, only time will tell if it will hold up though.

I have retired all of my Clearomizers with the exception of the protank. Although the protank is not my first choice for an eliquid delivery device, it works the best when I am in a rush and I don't want to fiddle with cartotanks.

T3 = Abominable vaping experience.

Both the Evod and the BCC Mega are much better. The ProTank is a step up from both of those, mainly due to the glass tank from what I hear. I am waiting on my three now.

They all use nearly identical atomizers. The Evod looks like it is interchangeable with the Protank since they are both threaded. Anyone try this?

In one of Edward's blogs over at Sun-Vapers he has pictures and info on using the Evod head with the Protank.

evod coils is all i have used in my protanks from day 1.

i do not switch out the post and i do not shave off the gasket. the evod coil tightens up the draw for me and wicks my vg juice fantastically, so i do not mod the evod coil in any way.

if i need it to wick faster for me, i just tip the protank/evod upside down. when i turn it right side up, bubbles galore. no more dry pulls for me. hehe

some evod coils tighten up the draw too tight. just try a different coil.

i do use vg juice so my juice is thick. the evod coil wicks faster IMHO, so higher pg juices might leak or gurgle. i have seen someone post they use 50/50 in the protank with the evod coil with no issue.

Yes several people have interchanged them. There is some slight difference in the design that causes the Evod head to give a little stiffer draw when used on the Protank which many people like better. They have a different length post which you have to swap also. I like mine right out of the box and like the easy draw but we are all different in what we like.:)

Tru Dat. I have used the PB top wick removal method. I have had good rich draws with my BCC Mega using this method. I anticipate the same with the ProTank.

well, going back and reading all the posts here has almost convinced me to order one. i have always used the T3s with no probs but some slurpy noises and an occasional mouthful of juice. but mostly happy with them.

so question....if i do get the protank, can i still use all these coil heads i have on them? cause i have a bunch.

I don't think they are the same heads but I know there is a video somewhere about how to make the t3 heads work on it.

Up to you if you want to give it a shot or not. If you do buy one and end up not liking it I'll buy it from you for whatever you paid plus shipping.

sorry, t3 coils will not work in the protank. i just tried it. hehe

the base on the protank is a 510 threading. the t3 is ego threaded.

just to be sure the coil would not fit into the bottom of the protank, i rocked off the post and tried to get the t3 coil base into the protank and it is a no go. it will not fit into the opening of the protank. even if it did fit, i do not think the threading would match up to screw it into the protank.

evod is the only thing so far that will work outside of the protank coils.
