I did it just to make YOU mad. It appears to have worked.
try looking under quick links, you can only have so many active sub elements before you run into issues with the software.

A way low priority, maybe adjust the Today's Posts output so it doesn't include the "Search" with list of subforums at the top of the page? I suspect it's used initially for debugging.

seems as thought all has been restored to peace in the kingdom. just one more request from moi....when I go to my "home" page...aka damselle, could I have my visitor messages rather than an activity stream? I love seeing my messages from my ECF friends when I open up my home page...
it was at the far right.....but i didn't mind that solution either
(the "my threads" under quick links on the right provides a list of all the threads that you started)
And the "My Posts" shows the threads in which you posted, not your posts...
Which is fine by me. It has always been like that.

This is not a setting that we can change. It is one of those software "features" that we'll have to hack some code in order to change. So at the moment it is on the "wish list" and we might revisit it when we have the extar dev time and have fixed other more urgent issues.
Note, for the old Mark All Posts Read (I think that's what it was called), use Forum Actions -- Mark Forums Read

'like' notifications are less of a problem if you let them build up for a day or so, then one click takes care of all of them.

I usually let mine build up to a couple hundred, then clear the notifications Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
