My purchase disrupted the time space continuum at Amazon!

Today in the morning I purchased some gifts for my Daughters Boyfriends Birthday.

I'm checking it all day long and notice nothings shipping and my cc hasn't been charged. Then I go to change payment method.

Well it turns out that the credit card expiration, which I haven't touched in months was changed from 2016 to 2015 causing the Credit Card charge not to go through.

I changed it back and charged it again and everything is hunky dorey except that it wouldn't arrive on time for his Birthday.

So I'm on the Chat with the Amazon Rep, who was so kind as to upgrade it to overnight so it will arrive on Friday and then I realized.

The three items are all Dr Who items.!!

The only plausible explanation of the glitch is that my buying Dr Who Items online upset the Time Space continuum causing my credit card date to be corrupted.

While laughing my head off, I told the Rep that he has to refer this case to Amazon It Department so they can " repair the rift!!! "

I used to do CS (actually forum moderation) for Amazon, and believe me, he's heard stranger. And it is enough of a fun place to work that he might have sent the request through to IT.
