No matter what juice I use I'm always having issues that seem to interrelated between the AFC ie where it's set and proper wicking. I often hear this residual vaping sound after releasing the switch and having ceased inhaling, which I usually take to mean that the coil needs more juice which means more pressure which means tighten draw, but still nothing works. I build .8-.9 ohm microcoils with cotton wicks. Also, I'm going through at least a wick or two a day bc it just gives up on me eventually every time and stops wicking to the point where it becomes a burnt wick and therefore unvapeable. PLEASE someone help me, my vaping spirit animal will serve you in this life and the next and you'll have earned my undying appreciation and gratitude. Ok, put it this way, if someone can fix my rba issues you get a lap dance at your club of choice. Haha, I'm kidding? Or am i?

M. NIGHT SHAMAYLAN (cue x files theme music at obnoxiously loud volume setting)

keep on vaping all you cloud-taming cowboys. Ps. Thanks in advance =]

That sound is IMO the coil still being hot and vaporizing a bit more after you stop heating the coil. My RBAs all do that.

I set up my Kayfun at about 1 ohm. The lower the resistance, the faster the coil will vaporize juice. I have flow control also, but I don't find it particularly effective. I find that at 0.8 ohms it can be difficult to get enough juice flow to keep up.

Here's a video from Rip Trippers on the way he sets up a Kayfun Light with cotton. I do it the same way and it works for me. Note that he points out to keep the juice channels completely free or it will not move enough juice to keep up with the coil. Once you get that fixed, your wicks should last a lot longer.

Hope this helps.
