i would not presume to speak for the rest of you out there but i am not drinking my eliquid and all the studies quoted are for oral ingestion of sucralose. Did i miss something........i didn't see any studies on the effects of vaporization and inhalation of sucralose. I'm not pro or anti sucralose just yet when it comes to vapeing. Bottom line, we as 1st generation vapers really don't know what vapeing is doing to us, it just hasn't been around long enough and most of what we use was not meant to be vaporized and inhaled. That being said, I will take my chances with this over smoking which I know was killing me. JMHO

It helps to keep a separate super-strong one for emergencies. Even one of those disposables like the BarFly (they're pretty nice). We usually vape 8mg juice. My wife occasionally breaks down if there's a very stressful situation, and has a cig. If I leave a ready to go super-nicotine loaded unit around, she reaches for that first.

That's a great idea, never thought of that. Gf and I both vape 12mg but there are times when I feel I "need" an analog. Luckily I haven't needed one that bad. The idea of keeping some super strong juice totally makes sense.

The only withdrawal is from nicotine. so just vape more and then leave a mod in his office... :):)

Apparently my son is smoking analogs again, as he came over last night, and after smoking in my office, he left the pack AND a lighter. So I am now finishing off his pack, as I am weak. He knows I would never buy them for myself at this point, but he hates to see me in withdrawal from the smoke and other toxins found in analogs. He thinks he is being 'kind' by doing this. Aurgh! Gotta love your children. (I am 44 and he is 27.)

My dad usually sleeps 80 percent of the day. He smokes and uses the electronics at night when he wakes up to go to the bathroom. We can't trust him to just sit there and not Nod-Out and drop the flaming analogs.

During the day however I will usually take his smokes away and replace it with an eGo 900 with a Carto Filled with some Tobacco Juice. Then I usually go do some errands. If I'm there when he wakes up I will give them back; but when I'm not there he is just a$$3d out until I return. Looks like he has to hit his puffer if he has a Nic Fit!

Well said. While I don't know the ill-effects of vaping besides the nicotine, I guess it's a choice of the lesser evil... and there is positive signs of weaning that off too!

Actually the addiction action with cigarettes is far more complex than just being addicted to Nicotine! There are some MAOIs which add to the action within the human body.

Big Tobacco knows more about the methods and actions of Nicotine Addiction that even Medical Science. That is why it is beyond far more tougher, I know that didn't sound right, for people to stop smoking Analogs vs someone who Picked up Digital Cigarettes from the get go. I know of two friends of mine who never smoked cigarettes but would smoke cigars when they drank when they went out. They picked up electronic cigarettes and just ran with them.

Funny thing about these two is they don't just wake up in the morning and have the first thought across their brain being the fact that they need to smoke or Vape rather! They might go until lunch before they Vape for the first time.

Further, the FDA allows Big Tobacco to add crap to the tobacco before they make their cigarettes. Now what exactly are they adding? No one knows really beyond them and the FDA. Some of these additives may seem to be harmless or added to increase shelf life and flavor, what have you. However they know good and well that they add stuff to increase the addictive potential to this evil, evil drug.

Yes not only are cigarettes addictive on their own like Crack ......., but the FDA allows these companies to increase that addictive potential. All in the name of Big, Big profits. Ultimately its all about money in the USA and the bottom line. And the government allows this to happen just because Republicans are getting the kickbacks from the Lobbyist; well and Dems too. I mean not to draw up party lines here so please just ignore that last statement.

When I first tried a disposable about 70 days ago I was doing great until.... I was around my daughter who is a smoker. I was still weak and caved only twice, smoking 1 cig on two different occasions. I then invested in some good supplies and lots of flavored juice because I felt I wanted to get away from the look and taste of real cigs.

Whenever my daughter came over I had 3 setups with different flavors in them. I would hand them to her and say "here, try this one". Well, I can be around her and not even think about wanting to bum a smoke, and she showed an interest in what I was doing. So I bought her an inexpensive ego type battery, CE4 and a bottle of Newport like juice. She is vaping and smoking, but smoking less and less. She now wants to move away from the tobacco flavor so I gave her some of my cotton candy juice. It's looking good for her, and I feel like I am pretty much in the clear as far as being tempted. If I didn't have my PV though, it might be a different story.

Just keep vaping. Lots of people do both at first. You'll get there. Good Luck.

I was a 2 PAD smoker and have been vaping for almost 2 years . I buy the occasional pack of analogs only now it take me at least a week to finish the pack . I know you never loose the urge to smoke and if I can't vape I would smoke . So the ecig is like a pacifier to me . It keeps me from smoking and even if I buy a pack of analogs it is months between doing that . So I am a lot healthier for it . My grandfather died in a house fire because of his smoking so I can see how that can be a problem .

Hello all. I am scared to death to even try to smoke an analog. I also am very weak and fear that just 1 will be a major setback. I haven't had one since July 3rd and have had nightmares that I was smoking a cigarette. When I woke up, thankfully it was just a dream. I'm so afraid I try to avoid being around the smokers while they are smoking. I am sure these feelings will pass.
