So I wanted to smoke for a long time and as I came closer to doing so I found e-cigs. I started e-cigs and loved them, became a part of a nice community, a wonderful group, life was nice. I am no longer a part of that (thats all I will say on that subject) and I lost interest in my 901 as the batteries are horrible. Found myself wanting a mod or a vaporking, though I couldn't afford it and I fell out of e-cigs.

Went a good while and then one day I decided to try a friends homerolled cig and now I am on analogs. Keep in mind, it ISN'T the e-cigs that lead me there as I was headed that way already.

So I now find myself stuck on analogs, though I prefer e-cigs, but cannot afford what I need. I have 1 kr-808 (I think) batt that does the job, but one batt isn't enough and it is ... flaky at best.

Not looking for a handout, just needed to talk, maybe try and get back into this lovely community by sharing my struggle with analogs and e-cigs.

PS: Cartos RULE!

Hi Crusylicious - we are in the same boat. I'm almost a month cig-free back to vaping after a pretty heavy duty analog-relapse.

Welcome back! If you ever need to talk ... hey - I'm around, trying to get some footing again too... it's always great to find some support and a shoulder to unload on :)

What kind of PV do you think would work the best for you? Does the KR808 work for you? What is it that you need? I know you aren't looking for hand-outs but I've been at this a while and I may be able to help you out. I'm a 510 girl though, so it's 510 stuff.

I just tried my first pack of cartos since when I came back I found out they have them for the 510 now.... I can see the potential for when I can't drip. They seem much easier than regular carts. I mainly drip, I find it just works for me.

Don't beat yourself up - I loved smoking - but I realized (for the second time) that I love vaping even more than I ever thought I loved smoking... not to mention - it's awesome smelling my hair conditioner, my hand lotion, my perfume and my fabric softener on my clothes at the end of the day.... wow - I never knew how nasty I smelled

Remie :vapor: So much changes... but so much stays the same...

I believe the kr-808/vaporking works well aside from my weird battery issues. I loved the 901 at first, but the batteries are too weak after the first couple hits and they are even worse with cartos, even with the adapter I have. I tried a 510 and a mega 510, they were alright, though I never tried them with cartos.

Your post first caught my eye because of your username. With the name Remington, I get called Remie/Remy alot, lol.

Maybe you can save up a little at a time. I don't know the cost of the model you are wanting without looking it up, but I paid $30 for a starter kit (Riva) back in September, I think. The batteries are still going strong, and one of the attys is still working like a charm. Even if you can only spare $5 a week, that will get you an e-cig in just over a month, and it should last for several months, at which time all you'd need to get is atomizers and liquid. If you were able to continue the $5 per week savings, you'd have that there for when it's time to order atomizers or liquid. Once you get over that initial purchase, it's cheaper than tobacco, if you don't go crazy getting the latest-greatest.

Hey, I just had a thought-- for now, you could get a Riva or Ego battery to fit your 901 atomizers! $17, I think, maybe you could find one cheaper-- but that would get you back in the game!

Forget the "cone." You don't need it and it collects condensation anyway. With just the battery purchase you will have everything you need to use your 901 and have excellent battery life.
