That doesn't seem normal a RL friend has a vamo and doesn't do what I have been explaining. I called him to ask these very questions. So now im getting all confused lol.

Is this or is this not the normal ways a Vamo is supposed to function?

I've read in several different threads where other users were having a delayed shutoff of less than a second, seems to be a common occurrence, & if you exchanged them for others would still occur. It would be interesting to put a dvm on the contacts and see if it's truly still firing from the battery .... It's possible the coil isn't receiving voltage, but still hot enough to crackle juice & vape, particularly if u may be running high power.

Ok my friend did come over and we tried both of ours even switched mods his tank on mine and my tank on his. His didn't have the delay like mine did. And he did say he to was having the turn on issue I had voiced. Ok so that's cool but I did hear back from the vendor and they are stating its normal for it to stay on after release of the button for a second or 2.

I just find that strange none of my other PV's do that. When I let off the button the PV turns off no delay. But if all of you here are saying that's normal for a Vamo and the vendor is saying the same thing. I guess its just me to find that strange.

Ill take a few days to see if it really bothers me and if it does ill sell them in the classifieds section.

But thank you all for all the impute I really do appreciate it.

My Vamo's do exactly the same thing. Sometimes it takes more than 5 clicks. I just keep clicking until they turn on. They also fire for a second or so after I let go of the switch. The Vamo up-converts the battery voltage to 6 volts and so a capacitor is probably slowly discharging when you let go of the switch and that's why it continues to fire for a short time.

I have read all of the threads available for the vamo, I have a vamo too, this is the way the unit opperates, it is normal, you do not have a fualty one, they do that normaly. Most of us that vape always continue to inhale alittle bit after we release the fire button, I think that maybe after you get used to doing this you will begin to enjoy your vamo more, they really are the best your going to get for the price you paid. You can spend alot more for your devise and still not get as good of a performance as your going to get out of your vamo. Try to be patient and in the long run I think you will be rather pleased. Good Luck Ron R

Ok well after all of the helpful advise I've decided these aren't for me. They work like both the vendor and you all have said. So I put them up for sale. Thanks again everyone for all your input and time. Hope they find a good home.

I'm sure they will find a loving home, the VAMO has many fans, including me. It does have its quirks though, I hope you find something you like better.
