So I just got in a Istick50w and subtank mini (thanks to dbrands for the suggestion) and I'm having a hard time.

I'm currently on 15w and I'm basically choking myself out. I find it hard to inhale for more than a couple of seconds without it being too warm. I'm also worried about the safety at vaping at a too low of watt. Is that even a thing? Lol

Anyways, I'm using the stock occ coils with the subtank, which is .5. Are there any tips for a lung inhale? It seems like this coil is so open its hard not too. I haven't coughed like this with any other mods (aspire cf vv+).

Any tips? Tricks? Help is much appreciated :)

Inhale quickly. Keeps the air moving so it doesn't get so hot.

If you are used to using the Nautilus Mini, as I was, you should expect to cough when transitioning over to any of the Subtanks. Maybe you shouldn't force yourself to inhale longer than a couple of seconds?

I'm inhaling at all of 2.5 seconds haha. I'm trying though. Also, is anyone has experience with the istick50w, is the button normally need a decent amount of force to fire? If I let off just a tad too much it stops firing.

Sorry for so many questions, I feel like I'm new again.

What mg nic are you using?

thats exactly what I was wondering, because hes only running 15 watts, 0.5ohms and 15 watts is only 2.7 volts. That shouldnt be hot, it has to be that your nic is high. 0.5 ohms at 15watts is like baby subohm vaping and you shouldnt even feel heat. If you are running high PG high MG nic though, you will feel like your throat is burning, but that would be due to the juice and not actual 'heat' burn.
