Hi HP
Great wireless connection.
I've had plenty of time to think over last few days.
I've got to catch up with all threads, but thought about your mod.
Consider putting the battery below the bottle and placing in a copper pipe.
If a good switch could be fabricated. It would make one hell of a copper juice fed atty mod.
To refill the bottle you would have to unscrew the top of the mod and lift out the wireless atty, bottle unit.
May be hard to setup the internal wiring, but would look really cool, especially if a led to light the bottle were added.

(more silly thoughts by petercro)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I have been brainstorming a similar design.I want to have a tube pv instead of a box, but still trying to figure out the right way to put things in line. I am starting to think a squeeze bottle design, with holes cut on either side of the bottle so you have a way to squeeze it.
I am still trying to figure out how the tube goes into the atty, and also how you connect the + and - properly. I still have much to learn, but I will keep reading until I get that AH HA!:w00t:

If you really want everything inline it's gonna end up pretty looooong! Depending upon selected battery, figure 2-3" for batt+ends, 1+" for cart, 1 to 1-1/2" for atty with connector, and the bottle height (figure 2 to 2-1/2"). So all told, it'd be 6" to 8" long! And that's assuming you only want to run 1 battery and that any switches don't add length.

IMHO, this is why you normally don't see inline designs. It can be done, but who'd want to use it? :)

Thus, I'd at least consider a 2-stack configuration. Where the battery is offset (and possibly switch(es)) so that your total height is more manageable.

It's you PV so you can build it however you want, just thought I'd point out why it's not normally done inline.

Whatever you decide, post pics so others can see and be inspired!

This is where I am getting stumped, but give me time to think about it. I might not come up with a solution to the length, but who knows... my Beta PV is 6" long with the 901 atty, I would not want to have anything much longer. I would probably have to make it with the 16340 3.7 batteries to keep the length down.

I doubt I would make these for sale, unless I could find a way to mass produce them, with quality. Too much competition out there already. I do want to give it a go for my own entertainment though ;)

This is my second choice in design, which may be my first mod to try.

Once I get something worth taking pictures of, I will be happy to share...:D

Kirothak, thank you, Im didnt use the same size or kind of bottle as highping, I chose to go with the atomizer spray bottle sense it was less soldering. Im still waiting on my bottle to get here, so I still have to fill the carts. Over all though it vaps really well.

Jambone

I found the bottles (i think) 6mls from usplastics. got everything i need ordered, but i think the boxes are from a china site so might be waiting awhile ^_^ anyone here ever have anything shipped from dealextreme? how long did it take? (though it was dirt cheap and free shipping so i wont complain to much lol)

I've never ordered from DX but I've heard that it can sometimes take up to a mionth! 8-o

You might consider ordering from someone closer (does Madvapes have what you need, b/c they ship fast!)

i did order most of the stuff for my project from mad vapes. but the boxes i wanted where only at DX (any other sites would ship random color which i did not want, or had a fire in there warehouse and are not taking orders) and the batts where about half the price as madvapes (not knocking madvapes as i am sure there price is very good, any other us site i found em at where much more) and yes they are protected, only trusted they where really protected cuz customer reviews from ppl that bought them confirmed it.

so imma just have to wait, figured on the 15-30 shipping before i even placed the order. ordered some cheep juice from a china website about a month ago and just got it today lol.

Using an 18350 1200ma.
The very basic jb configuration of battery connector to bottle by HighPing. and a 3ml bottle, It would be possible to get the length down to 4.5 inches, without atty.

Would have enough juice in bottle to vape all day and enough juice in the battery also to last all day.

Is that small enough for you?

First off I must say this is one of the best threads I have seen in a long time. Finally stumbled upon it. I would love to try this out!

Does anyone have any leftover 1/16 copper tubing? I can't find any locally and was hoping to avoid large shipping fees. If so, please PM me. Thanks.

So I made my first box/bottom feed juice mod today and it WORKS! It's not pretty, being my first try I was not expecting much, but I am excited that it is working. This design uses a 2x AA battery box w/switch a 901/808 connector, the horn switch, a 14500 protected battery, and a color changing LED (all from madvapes) I am starting to get the hang of soldering after getting the right tools. The third hand w/magnifying glass makes a world of difference!

I designed this to be used mainly with cartomizers, so the needle is sticking up a bit longer, about 1/2" from the connector, so it can reach up inside the cartomizer. If you put a 901 to 510 adapter on there, it brings the exposed tip of the needle to the correct length for the 510 atomizer. It seems to be working well for both.
DSCN0669.jpg

For the juice bottle, I used a standard 3ml plastic bottle, a 1 1/2" blunt tip dispensing needle (from my inkjet refill kit) and part of a 1ml plastic pipette. I trimmed the cap from the needle (the part that attaches to the syringe) down to where the needle starts, clipped off the square edges and slipped the cut tip of the pipette over it, which formed a nice seal and seems to be working really well.
DSCN0672.jpg

I installed the color changing LED at the top next to the connector, and it only comes on when I press the button to vape (also my first time to wire the LED)
DSCN0674.jpg

I made it so the entire bottle, and needle come out together, seems to work great. I could not figure out a better way to leave the cap in, without having some kind of leak or other issue, and there is so little room in there it is almost impossible to remove the bottle and leave the cap in place, it was just easier to do it this way (trying to keep it simple). So far, I have not found any problems with it.

Here is a video of it in action:
YouTube - My first bottom fed juice box mod

I am already working on a second box with some corrections from the mistakes I made on the first one, it will be the solid white box. I expect the whole thing should light up with the LED. It's already going much quicker now that I have done it once, now I just need my 901/808 connectors to show up so I can finish it. Maybe tomorrow...

Very very ni ce work.
Take a look around the general section of the modders forum and you will find,
designs and ideas that may help in your building frenzy.
(I say frenzy, because 2 mods is never enough).

I think Highping is working hard or working on the epoxy mod.
So he has been very quite for a while.
But when he returns, I believe it will be amazing.

Keep up the great work.

Petercro.

Thanks petercro! Modding is an addiction for sure. What is funny, and a bit ironic, I just ordered a Mr. Puffer, and now I don't know that I will want to keep it. It may show up on the classifieds soon. I like his design, but if I can make my own bottom fed box mod, it makes more sense to pass the puffer along to somebody who might not be able to make their own mods. Might change my mind once I get it in my hands. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I was just looking at your custom Sign.
One of the only ones you don't have on the list it the Mr P's puffatronic.
More than any of the mods you see in this section, the puffatronic is very well built.
And even more so, very well supported.
Give Mr P a break.
It is still fed from a bottle.
Has to be worth trying.

The best that I've been able to do... with a 130450 battery (TorneGo), 2.5ml of liquid, and a 510 cut-down atty is 4.75" including mouthpiece.

That's my daily vape now. But neither the battery or the 2.5ml will get me through the entire day (with a LR atty).

And how's MY "daily vape" coming along? Just when can I expect delivery?

Warning...The following is a THREAT...
You do realize that you're less than a 6 hour drive from me? If I'm willing to drive that far for White Castle, think what I'd do if I don't get my "PV from the Master" soon!
