Dan, do you know the shipping for Perfumer's Apprentice for the Absolute and the ethyl stuff??

USPS is about 2.50 to Alabama, just go to check out and enter your info. And hit apply under the shipping and it will tell you before you actually "Check out"

Hope this helps
Dan

Dan,
Just a quick math confimation.
In your original use with the premixed you used 1ml flavoring in a total of 10ml total eliquid. Or 10% flavoring.

With the concentrate you are now using 10drops per 10ml? 10drops =1/2ml . That would be 1/2ml of 75% stronger flavoring or 50% stronger with out diluting the total 10ml any greater.

According to Seedmans site the concentrate to be used is mixed 1/2oz to 1 1/2oz water.
A 75% reduction in strength. Big difference if I read your math correctly.

If anyone does have the premixed, it can be made into concentrate by reducing its volume in a bowl, in a toster oven, set at abt 180*. Not to exceed 200* till the starting volume of say 1 oz is now reduced to 1/4oz. You willl now have the concentrate without
a repurchase.

To clarify 1ml = 40 drops using my droppers. So I was using 40 drops of the diluted seedman mix originally. With the concentrate I am only using 10 drops to 10ml. So 25% of what I was using, and it is in a 7.5oz for around 28.00.

So in contrast when I make a 300ml mix I use 7.5ml or (300/40) of seedmans concentrate to 292.5ml of unflavored ejuice.

Hope this helps
Dan

Ok Dan,
A least that makes more sense ...lol

We've found some problems using recipies that use ml and drops unless its explained to the letter. Standard pharmacutical is 20 drops per ml. The JC 3ml bottle droppers are 27-30 drops per ml. To make it more confusing the drop count differs due to viscosity.
2 drops of absolute can = 10 of everclear from the same dropper.

We've tried everything to get a stanard and all in ml's seems the best.
Tough to do with a test batch tough.

Thanks.

Received my order from Seedman's today...

I used the same recipe for all flavors...40% 60mg plain nic, 40% VG, 20% Seedman's flavor. Resulting strength is 24mg juice.

TOB500, Virginia Fire Cured Flavor Enhancer - Wow! I can actually TASTE this! The resulting juice is rather thin (even with 40% VG, but it made KILLER vapor!) and it's not as "rich" as I prefer, so I just ordered the concentrate (TOB500D) as I really like the flavor...closest to real tobacco as I've tasted so far.

TOB601, Basic Tobacco Flavor Enhancer - meh...not much flavor at all...could hardly tell it was even there.

TOB512, Honey Flavor Enhancer - I "can" taste it, but to get the honey flavor, I'd have to use a LOT and it would seriously thin and further dilute the resulting juice.

TOB508, English Flavor Enhancer - All I'm going to say about this one is YUCK! The flavor IS there as with the VFC, but it reminds me of "something" that I can't quite put my finger on. All I know is me no likes it!

TOB511, Rum Flavor Enhancer and TOB510 Vanilla Flavor Enhancer - haven't tried these two yet...too much nicotine in too little time! I'll wait a while and give them a try.

Anyway, I'm quite sure using the concentrates is going to be the solution. That way, I can get the full flavor without reducing the viscocity or nic strength...I hope.

Will update later this evening to include the vanilla and rum.

I'm glad to see this thread still going strong. My vaping has certainly taken on new life with the seedman tobacco flavorings. I have several different flavorings now but have spent most of my time trying to get the perfect Virginia for the 5 volt Prodigy. I'm getting close now since I have discovered that it is the everclear that is making the juice taste harsh when it leans out. The 3.7 volt machines do very well with the everclear at about 10%, it increases the throat hit just right

Right now I am helping efforts to create a mod cart that so far has taken juice delivery to new levels of performance. This is the next step in improving the PV experience. In the cartride Modders forum there are several different threads that all work on the same general idea. Creating a juice reservoir in the bottom of the cart and getting the right material for a small plug that will wick the juice to the atomizer and utilize all of the juice in the cart. This plug reservoir systems delivers the juice at near dripping performance at every drag. This system reduces juice waste because you can vape all of the juice from the cart.

Now back to a new seedmans flavor.

Well here are the links to the top three contenders:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/cartridge-mods/46916-reservoir-straw-plug-mod-rsp-mod.html

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-foam-plug-updated-v2-0-slug-search-over.html

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/cartridge-mods/46294-must-try-adm-auto-drip-mod.html

The various mods are evolving all the time but the basic design is pretty much the same. A reservior at the bottom and a wick plug at the top. Some people prefer one version over the other. I personally prefer the RSP mod but you should read and experiment yourself to see which one is best for you. It will be well worth the effort.

Sherry,
I hope you will get back to us about the vanilla and rum. I need to order some Virginia Fire Cured. After the experience we both had with their 'ugly' English, I'm hesitant to buy any more non-tobacco flavors from them without your input.

Dan,
I see you're a military contractor. Noting your mention of 300ml batches; are you supplying juice to our troops?;-) That much liquid would last me 9 months.

Its interesting to read the comments you each make. They hint at wide differences in personal preference regarding strength of flavor.

Since I have started using the plug mod carts I was having a harsh vape from my regular Virginia mix. So I have made an attempt at a high voltage version of Virginia made from Seedman.com flavors. Here is my latest receipe using VG based 60mg juice.

4.0ml - 60mg VG unflavored
2.0ml - Now Foods VG
1.0ml - PGA
3.0ml - Virginia fire cured enhancer

The final liquid is 24mg juice. It really has a lot of flavor and vapor but I want a little more throat hit. It really tastes good to me.

Anyone have a suggestion on how to get just a little more throat hit?

LOL, No I am not providing juice to our troops directly. I have been making juice for a local vendor and he services the Fort Rucker area. So indirectly yes I am supporting our troops :)
I use on an average about 1500ml a week when producing the approx 20 flavors I make. So now you have a little more insight about me :)

Hey I am getting a wonderful TH with this recipe except I used my menthol base instead of plain PGA. I use PGA and menthol crystals as a menthol base. I always keep a large bottle mixed up because I like menthol is almost everything. Also, I use a PG VG base of 70% PG 30% VG. This makes a wonderful menthol vape...thanks covert!

My Changes
4 mls 48mg PG unflavored
2 mls PG VG Base
1 ml menthol base
3 mls seedman's Virginia Fired Cured Enhancer

I haven't tried any of the menthol yet as I never used it in cigarettes. It might be worth a try. I bet it adds to the throat hit very good.

Thanks,
Kevin

Oh...I thought there was a NEW cart mod on the horizon!

I've tried just about every one on the boards and have finally settled on the RSP as well.

Sorry...been busy building my first batt mod (and it worked, too!).

To me, the vanilla and the rum have little flavor in the regular strength, but what flavor I COULD taste I didn't care for. To me, both taste "chemical", KWIM?

Won't be buying those again.

I missed that post What kind of problems did you have with the English? I have some but haven't tried it yet.

Kevin

There's just some "odd" flavor that I can't name. I've tasted it before, though...I want to say it tastes like one of my grandmother's "home remedies" that she used to give me when I was little.

Just plain, simple yuck...to me.
