I too got hit this last time after ordering from My Freedom Smokes in March. Mycard was used at the Apple ITunes store for a purchase I didn't authorize. Luckily Discover card caught it right away. I will be very hesitant to ever order from them again.
I got hit also had fraudulent charges on my card that my bank caught. I placed two orders in March 7th and April 25th time frame. I just received a notification from the on May 26th unfortunately I placed another order May 22nd. Hoping my card don't get hit again. I am in search of another vendor now as I have been researching My Freedom Smokes track record and it does not look good at all. It is a shame I never had any issues with any orders placed with them but I can't trust they have taken the necessary steps to protect their customers.
Prepaid throw away cards for the win.
They most likely aren't. As your information is input, the malware copies it and forwards it off to the collection server.
Given that payment processing is beyond the capabilities of whoever MFS hires to write their code, maybe they should just switch to PP only.
Or at least offer Paypal as an option. It isn't my favorite payment choice, but after getting all of my cards compromised at the same time, I'm starting to choose that one when it is offered.

There are Dozens of ECF members who have posted instances of CC fraud after doing business with them.
That website is a risk.
It has been for quite some time.
At this point its obvious they cant or wont stop it.
I would stay far away.

I shopped in store using a card less than a week later my card was compromised. This was a couple of years ago, so it's an on going problem.
Ahhhhh! I got charged for Lyft rides in SF also! I was just searching around on here to see if anyone else got fraudulent charges after purchasing fro MFS. I didn't get an email apology from them.
This is pretty sad. They've got great pricing and are on the same coast as I am so they ship fast for me.
That's just crazy! Gee I hope they had a good time. Not. And I agree with everything else. But I'm not buying from them again. It was mostly for sale tank heads for someone else. He's on his own now. lol

I have ordered from them a couple times in the last month or so. My CC got hit for $1260.00. No way of really knowing if this fraudulent charge was due to them or not, but I think I'll stay away.
If this has been going on for years it seems that they don't care about their customers and only in business to make them money (of course that's why you open up a business) but come on, when CC are being compromised on almost a daily basis if not a daily basis, makes you wonder if it's not an inside job. If it's not that couldn't give a rats behind about their customers.
It is sad that you didn't even get a Ln email apology from them. They probably said screw sending out emails due to so many cards being hacked. This is going to cause them to go out of business because if this keeps happening, people won't be buying from them any longer.

Memorial Day Sale, Heartland was $34 (normally $45) and their systems aren't hacked by people using Lyft to get around on your dime. There are lots of choices in the marketplace (for now and hopefully the future) and no need for me to purchase from someone not willing to meet basic protections for their customers and transactions.

Data breaches are a big deal.
I removed them from my bookmarks, not that much I really want from them anyway.
It's a shame. I always go to their warehouse and pick up small orders of flavors but if they're not going to solve this issue, I'll be forced to order from across or out of state since they won't accept cash in their showroom. So much for supporting local business...

I switched to nicotine river for my last purchase because they were cheaper and had everything I need for mixing. So it's been over a year since I ordered from my freedom so it looks like I dodged a bullet
