This could be a result of having allergy problems, but vaping definitely aids my breathing through my nose. I think the tobacco smoke irritates my nasal membrane and keeps it swollen. I noticed an improvement almost immediately in that capacity after switching to vapor and ceasing smoking. The nasal passages seem much clearer and open. The reduction in swelling inside the nose is an obvious benefit if you are prone to this problem of sinus/allergy problems. That makes sleeping better as a result.

before I started vaping I had to do a lot of nose blowing in the mornings
I almost never have to do that since I stopped smoking and started vaping......

Wow! I never really gave this much thought, but now that you mention it... I haven't had to do the morning-nose-blowing thing almost at all since starting to vape! Adding this to the Benefits of Vaping list.

Also, I vape menthol, and find that if the nose gets stuffy, exhaling menthol through the nose helps clear it right up.

That's great! I agree not smoking anymore has helped me have less allergy problems, I sleep better as well because of that. While I was smoking I also had the dreaded "smokers cough", I couldn't lay on my back for long without having a wheezing problem in my lungs and chest. Plus I would wake up in the morning and have to cough for awhile...gross. Vaping has changed all of that for me, I breathe so much easier now. 2 years of vaping has helped take away a lot of the damage that 15 years of smoking a pack a day did.

Yep, my sinuses were permanently plugged and my nose runny for the last 10 years. (In addition to my horrible, constant phlegmy smoker's cough.) All of that began clearing up the first few days I switched to vaping, and gets better every day still, just over two weeks in now. Other side-effects of blocked sinuses, including snoring and deep purple under-eye circles, have also vanished.

Used to get a sinus infection in the spring, and then the fall back when I smoked. Haven't had a sinus infection for almost two years now since quitting analogs.

My daughter mentioned that she was having trouble keeping up with me on our walk the other day. It used to be the other way around. I slowed down just to be with her.
