Boomer's Orlik juice is like the nectar of the gods. Give it about six to eight weeks of steeping. I vaped the whole bottle without touching anything else. It only took me two days to kill over 6ml. That was using a 2.0 ohm Kanger dual coil set up on an Evod battery for the majority of the vaping. So, a lot of puffing was done.

It's freaking good. In my top 5 dripping rotation right now along with Bill's H&H Magnum Opus, Johni's Voodoo Queen, and Dustnight's Royal Cajun

I know several don't like Ahl's aros, and even some former fans have had a falling out, but I still love 'em. Probably helps that I've never indulged on them heavily, not vaping more than two bottles of any of them and going long periods of not having any in my stash.

Sweet Georgia Peach tastes like I remember, and grabs me with the same powerful grip. At first I only get a potent peach flavor. Not just peach, but the best damn peach I've experienced in vape form, miles ahead of any others. After a bit the tobacco emerges. It doesn't become a fully independant flavor, I can't taste the line where the peach ends and the tobacco begins. Like an otherworldy, fictional plant that grows peachbacco leaves.. just the one peachbacco flavor. It brings forward a childlike wonder that vapeflavor can have magical properties.

I must note that this juice, like the rest of the aros, is experienced in vastly different ways based on the reports I've read from others. Some experience the tobacco strongly, too strong. I read a person report that they can't even find the peach under the overly potent tobacco! Total opposite to how it tastes to me. Some also get a medicinal, synthetic, or otherwise unpleasant taste from all the aros, while they are purely natural tasting to my senses. Why this line has such opposing reactions from people I have no idea. I just know that it works for me, amazingly well.

I don't know why this thread kind of turned on Ahlusion (actually, yes i do) but Maple Burley is still a daily vape for me, as is well aged Smooth Criminal. Since trying it 2 months ago, I have vaped FAR MORE Caramel Wild Wood then any other juice. My friends here know i was intentionally late to this party, stubborn and resistent. It still hasn't gotten old to me which is SHOCKING at this stage...it is good every time and ANY time.

G'day all,

I was wondering if there is anything new on the perique front? Any new sources? How does the RBFS St. James stack up aginst GeJ? (I've given up on net.com :()

Papa...I have St. James and I have hoarded the last of my NETCOm Choctaw which is OUTSTANDING. PM me and I will get you samples of each.

If you've tried some of the commercial perique offerings (and assuming you've tried the homemade versions on their own) how does the HM stand in funk (mushroom sour)? The reason I ask is I'll ask for their tobacco source. I'm pretty sure my perique was an imitation perique and a bit stale.

I am Italian so no stranger to chest hair (or grease or big...feet). It was the funk element in GEJ's version that as a straight single varietal wasnt for me. I would say Choctaw is as strong, but less funky and a bit more smoky maybe? St. James flavor wise might have been the most robust of the (IMHO) clean and almost too light in flavor RBFS line. It had good depth and will not leave you wanting for flavor. I think it is a more AUTHENTIC Perique offering than GEJ, and it is a more well-balanced, hand crafted, careful, delicate but nonetheless robust juice. The thing with St James is it is a perique for perique lovers BY a perique lover. He knew what he wanted, knew what he was doing, and that juice sings for all the right reasons. I am a take it or leave it guy on Perique like Bill, but I respect the hell out of St. James Parish. It is a MUST try. PM me. I got some plus some NETCOM Choctaw steeping for you.

I'd like to resurrect this very funny post by Big Juicy in part one of this thread.....

"A somewhat epic vape night for me...at the very least one if the more memorable ones.

Ravyn - I...I...just don't know what to say. I read most of the thread, I asked around. This ain't unicorn milk...maybe dragon milk? This is obviously sufficiently steeped at this point. First scent and few puffs I got a berry element. Then it was clearly pushed back by that mystery funk Ravyn is famous for. The odd thing to me was that the mystery flavor bound and finished this juice. Was this by design? If this flavor was way out front pre-steep...say, like the Latakia spice element is in fresh DD...then I get how people were disgusted by this. Here it was blended somewhat. Then as I vaped it I didn't get the components at all but a whole one note, one flavor. What IS this. I know I have tasted not the parts but this exact flavor before. I was thinking it was decent, but not for me. I had a quick vision of my hippie days smoking something when we were out of weed...colored papers...what...vision disappeared. Then the bad thing came. I chain vaped it til I for sick and I simply couldn't place the taste. Burley and maybe a berry shisha? Is there some sandalwood or pachouli involved? Is the funk simply perique not playing nice with others? I was so close too. Then I got home and it compromised my Chinese food. I don't know if it shared an ingredient with orange chicken or if the orange chicken somehow activated what lingered on my palate, but it was not pleasant. I give up, I ain't taking another puff of this. Later I vaped some burley and then some latakias...and I don't know. All I know is that there is some Latakia in there. And I know they went for SOME taste that exists that I have had before and it was from my hippie days. F!!! I jut almost remembered again, but no....maybe. It was some kind of rolled smoke, from another country...oh ...., I got it just this minute AS I TYPE!!!!!!!!!! BIDI's!!!! He crap one smoke like 20 years ago. Ravyn is bidi's. I have blown my own mind.

Beedi - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Rest of my epic night later...I need to trip out now and then rest my circuits"

Typos aside, this is a pretty accurate nutshell of that night. It was MONUMENTAL asa spot check realization of my palate and sense memory. Like Moses receiving the tablets...or more like the Bishop in Caddyshack

RAT FARTS!!!!!

Ravyn was BEEDIS...period.

When Backwoods Brew RY4 was discontinued, much mournful wailing ensued on ECF and elsewhere. Why? Because that juice was hugely popular. While Bluegrass Burley and Devil Dog! were truly amazing NET liquids, they were never very popular in the vaping community. My own reaction echoed that. They were breathtaking juices, all right, but I simply wasn't in love with them. Shoot, I spent more time posting about those two than I ever did vaping them. So the passing of Ahlusion's Aromatic line won't affect me at all. In fact, I'm glad to see that Wlad knows when it's time to move on.

On the other hand, Smooth Criminal is a perennial winner, and Caramel Wild Wood is to die for. Those juices may not be as technically incredible as BGB and DD, but they're delicious. I'll don a black arm band if those two are discontinued.

PLEASE say this isnt so. What will I do without maple Burley? I have vaped that every single morning for almost 2 years!

All over the place
Woke up today and Jiggy is still awesome! [I wasn't so sure if I was just trippin' last night! LOL] However, I totally forgot to mention that my bottle of Sludge is no bueno. It tastes like it has a lot of that exact same odd sweetness that Shadow had. I did love my last bottle of Sludge (Gollum), but considering how my bottle of DH and Jigz is working so very well for me, I'll take the tiny (30 mL) loss.

Ok, obviously I read 10 days worth of posts lady night...and boy are my arms tired.

But seriously...

Can somebody, in no uncertain terms, please clarify the situation with Ahlusion Aromatics?

The online sales of Ahlusion's Aromatics are going away....

In fact, I've been unable to even order any BGB since this was brought up on this thread, so I guess I'm not starting early enough or they aren't making very much so the batches disappear quickly.

It doesn’t take much of a stretch to see where someone trying to be funny or attempting to be a know-it-all would make such a comment. To put it to rest once and for all, there is no poop-flavored tobacco currently made.

I knew that. No love for my attempt at humor?

Bill's cigar extractions have spoiled me to a point that I cant fathom trying any more retail cigar juices unless I have to.

I know what you mean. I always mix up Bill's extracts as soon as they arrive. I can't remember ever getting a stinker. Same with Dustmite. I got some Royal Cajun from him and it's a steepin already. As a matter of fact between Bill and Dust I have fifteen steepers.

Yay! Yay! Yay! 2nd place in the GeJ contest for a free 30ml and 10ml of juice!

I've done a total of only around 5 vape contest over the years, and won the last two I did this month; maybe I should do more contests lol. Pretty much only do the one's announced in this thread, so thanks John for announcing the GeJ contest!

I've been wanting a big bottle of GJ4 (my fav NET RY4) for a while, so the 30ml is an easy choice. Not sure about the 10ml.. leaning towards trying Analog but Organic and Godfather I'm pretty curious about too. Don't suppose anyone's got a report on Godfather yet? Either way, I'll be buying the ones I don't choose shortly anyways.

My :2c:, you should try Organic #1... It gets better with age so get it now so the steeping can begin!

I've been looking forward to Organic more, but leaning towards Analog for the small bottle because I think I've been planning on blindly going big on Organic, especially since it's reportedly a great steeper. I may end up flipping a coin tomorrow lol.
