Got my vape mail from Mr. Mann today and was happy as a...well...vaper with something new to try. These are my first impressions with both of these companies so was excited to try them. Thanks Sir, you are da Mann (get the play on words, man, Mann...bet you never seen that before...lol)!

I was so glad you sent that Sweet Georgia Peach as I have been eyeing that one for a while now. A good peach tobacco has been something I have been looking for for since I started vaping and have yet to find one that combines both tastes together. What I have tried were either just peach or just tobacco. Unfortunately, this one is more of the just peach variety as I am not getting tobacco on the initial taste. Will go back to it in the morning when I got a fresh palate.

Initial thoughts on Dagwood's Wife is Trippin...It's a cigar vape alright. I kinda like it but not sure if it will have the staying power with my tastes. Saying that cause it is a strong in your face type of "yeah, I'm a cigar, got a problem with it" type of vape. Although, I rather enjoyed the smooth finish of it. Will have a better idea after a few sessions with it.

The last one was Fabulous Burley. This one I did the ole look at the tank after trying it with the eyebrows raised. Meaning, it's pretty darn good. This is a very smooth vape and think I like it. Thanks.

I have to disagree with you on that Bill. Cinire was speaking of the American Spirit Bold I traded her. I have tried several extracts and juices, including Clay's Talking Spirit. I feel that my method of extraction may be gunkier but it brings the taste to a new level. I prefer mine over all the others.Next swap I'll include some juice for you to try.

boomer,

What's American Spirit Bold? That's not a company designation. Are you referring to the brown package called "Non-Filter"? Which tobacco from the American Spirit lineup did you extract? Maybe that's not a product name at all, but rather what you're calling your particular extract or the DIY NET juice made from it.

You've stated before that gunking is not a concern for you, that you prefer more flavor to cleaner performance. Those are my words, of course, but I think that's a fair translation of what you've written.

In terms of a scale that indicates NET flavor-intensity, I would certainly put your extracts---the ones I've had, anyway---on the Want2Vape end and not even close to the MyVapeJuice Cigar end. I understand, of course, that many variables affect the flavor intensity of a given macerated extract, among them type of tobacco, type of maceration (heat-assisted or cold-processed), ratio of tobacco to solvent, length of maceration steep, type of filtering, percentage of extract used in mixing the juice, and steep time after mixing, to mention just the most obvious factors.

My point is only to suggest that this is a continuum rather than a black-and-white distinction, and I have a pretty good feel for where you like to be on that continuum.

Really?! I get no shortage of strong tobacco in SGP. Did Mann leave the bottle uncapped for nine months, or what?

I was speaking of the unfiltered.

I wouldn't say I'm unconcerned with gunk, I'm just not obsessive about it. The filters I use give me liquids without visible particulates. That's good enough for me. For trades I filter twice because you and my other trading buddies may be more concerned with the crusties. From reading how you guys do your extractions, I would say I use at least twice as much tobacco for a given volume. When I'm going to extract a cigar I will try and get close to a 6x60 size and I use all of it in 70-80 mls. For loose pipe tobacco's i use a full ounce for that volume. I feel that doing it this way gives me more flavor. YMMV.

It might be flavor creep from the last thing I had in this particular tank which I think was a peach flavor (thought I rinsed it good though). Will try it on a dripper in the morning (too lazy to recoil it tonight). Could be me though, peach will just be that elusive tobacco flavor I end up chasing forever cause I screwed up my taste buds with cheap smokes and cheap booze for too many years :(

My first experience with Sweet Georgia Peach was similar, all peach. Didn't matter, it was the best darn peach I've ever experienced in a vape. The tobacco is there, it just doesn't feel separate from the peach. It's one peachbacco flavor to me. I don't even bother trying to find where the peach ends and the tobacco begins, I just bask in it's delicious glory. Vurley from the aro line is similar, the vanilla and tobacco combine into one flavor for me.

I smoked for 38 years. It took me at least 3-4 months after quitting to reasonably judge flavors. So give it some time. Cheap booze I dunno. Non-medicinal alcohol has never passed my lips.

Glad you mentioned that cause I might be trying to hard to identify the tobacco. You're right about the peach though, it is damn good.

I totally get why. I am just at this weird juncture in my NET consumption where certain liquids work for me that may have been no bueno for me in 2012 (and vice versa). I did want to make sure you were fully stocked jut in case, so once again, I hope there is something in there that will work. Hell, the Walker NETs may make several 30 mL once diluted! LOL. You could probably add it by the drop to MVJ's liquids to boost them.

And with the floral thing, I think me liking Kuba Kuba made me perfect candidate for being able to get down with this (and I like the floral notes in Jigg(x) too). Not too many people here like Kuba Kuba if I remember correctly (just me Jerms and Anthony -- I think??). I didn't quite like the Havano at first as that note was pretty forward, but at some point I just kept going back to it -- my half is now gone.

p.s. Who here likes Kuba Kuba (either from w2v or QnJ)?

We don't like kuba kuba, oh no, we LOVE it.

I've had both Qnj KK and Want2vape KK and they are both good but W2V nails it.

I have also had boomers homemade KK and he did a very good job with it. There is good clarity in boomers extraction of KK.

I just got home a little bit ago after a long day, just want to relax, so not in the mood for active tasting for a few hours and describing a vape. So, I'll just say this for now about Count Caramel from RBFS after a few minutes of vaping. Keep in mind I've vaped and love Caramel WW from Ahl..

The Count may be the best damn caramel tobacco I've ever had. That is all..

Jerms,

I tried count caramel yesterday soon after receiving my RBFS order and I also love it.

But then I have never had a caramel NET before. Combining the caramel with a good non funky cavendish works really well

Newbie inaugural post of the year nomination.

I don't wish to see the thread split either for all the reasons stated below.

Howdy. I might not be a "new" vaper but in terms of some of y'all I'd be considered new (been vaping since November last year). I am kinda new to ECF as well; been reading this thread since I became a member and think I might be addicted to it. The reason for that is I thought I was a NET expert because I have been vaping MOV's NET's since December. However, once I started reading this thread I realized there was a whole new world out there of new NET's for me to explore.

By reading this thread I was able to take advantage of the 50% off sale at GeJ a few weeks back and have been enjoying the heck out of them. By reading the first page I went to a few other places to try a few other vendors and am steeping some from Downeast Vapor and waiting for vape-mail from EtherVapes. I seen good stuff posted a little while back on both of them and they had flavors I wanted to try. I also want to try most of the first tier vendors and will probably will start soon enough.

There is something else I get from this thread and all the home extractor talk; a good idea of what certain tobaccos that are always listed are supposed to taste or at least what kinda flavor profile they have. Also, if they are earthy, smokey, dark, light, robust, and all that type of stuff. I love it and feel like I'm getting a free education at times on the finer points of tobaccos. In fact, I think this type of discussion helped this noob understand this stuff better than just talking about retail vendors. It could just be me but I find it interesting as all heck.

So I guess all I am trying to say is everything y'all discuss on this thread has helped a rookie like me become more interested in different retail NET's. The funny part is, back when I smoked it was just regular analogs, nothing special. However, now I am enjoying the journey into finer tobaccos and such. Thanks!

I would have to go along with your perception of what tastes good to you and the filtering involved with that. It sounds exactly like my view of a great extraction. I can't vouch for anyone else, but for me, when I see a MVJ juice as opposed to a WJV juice, I subconsciously think very mild.
I hope this time I haven't posted a confusing post as I am still trying to figure out who is on first........

Who is WJV? I reckon it was w2v? I might be missing something easy though.
