The Cadenza caught my eye.
"Sun-cured, highly aromatic and mildly spicy, basma tobacco is considered by some tobacco experts to be the finest aromatic tobacco in the world. Grown exclusively in the mountainous area of western Greece known as Xanthi, basma has earned a reputation as the “king of tobaccos.”

And from another sourse.
Basmas Xanthi.
"The most aromatic of the world, great quality. The leaves have a moderate thickness and beige color when dry. Grown in Chrysoupoli in Sidironero Drama and in the regions of Western Thrace."

My wife is from Greece and her family is from another tobacco growing region with a stronger variety, commerical varities have replaced much of their traditional crops though there are heirloom seed growers which we will be visiting this summer. I'll have some to send to extractors if interested.
This is variety her family grows.
"Tsebelia Agrinio.

Low plants with thick large leaves without stem. Their color is light and cultivated mainly in Etoloakarnania, Ioannina and Thesprotia. They are considered the best for making cigarettes and consumed exclusively domestic."

You're off to a good start. Remarkable!

Thanks! I always wished I could draw and assumed I couldn't until literally a week and a half ago when I gave it a try. Drawing from a photograph is less about creative talent than patience and an eye for detail. And a few good pencils lol.

It has cavendish too. I could barely tell there was perique there. I thought Confederate was decent but not as good as some others here thought it was. I tried six of Vash's juices and Bright Burley, Midnite Lite and Classic Caramel were the standouts for me.

You may be aware that I am on the fence with Confederate of late and of my disappointment based on my last order. It tasted off and was weaker in flavor IMO. I made a small order for Confederate with EV which I received this past Tuesday thinking maybe I had a bad batch. I did send off an email to Vash the next day asking if he was using new suppliers and if the percentages of the tobaccos changed. In hindsight I should have asked before I placed my order. The response I received indicated no changes to the percentages however he said he changed to a different source for the nicotine — something about a smoother nicotine although I don’t know what smoother means. Apparently he had received feedback from other customers that the NETs were off but he did not state in what way. Instead he indicated that he just added back a choice to select the old or new type of nicotine. As far as Confederate for me it was the taste and I don’t know if it had to do with the source of nicotine or not. He said he would send me Confederate with the old style nicotine which I should receive next week. I will let both the old and new nicotine style versions steep for approximately a month which is my normal steep time for Confederate to see if the flavor improves. If not, this could be the demise of Confederate for me.

Vash uses Vaperstek nic. The TH (throat hit) is just over 1/3 the price of the "clean" nic. The people that like the clean mainly use it with fruits or unflavored. I haven't tried both unflavored so i can't speak to that.

I know the king of tobaccos, but it's not from Greece, it's from Saint James Parish, Louisiana...:)

Hey Influence, are you familiar with Vaponaute, the Louis Vuitton brand from France :) ? Not quite as expensive as Gucci and priced at USD27 for 30mls and I have no idea how much of that has to do with shipping and import duty costs. One of the B&Ms carries this brand and I noticed that a couple of them contain tobacco however no straight up all tobacco blends or single varietals which I think may be more to your liking. One states it is a Virginia tobacco blend and another says light tobacco blend. If you have tried any of these, would appreciate your thoughts as well as Vaponaute in general as an eliquid.

When you say "clean", do you mean it is clean on the coils even with NETs?

I think he means the "clean" nic (Vaporstek) is smoother. Does not give the throat hit his "old" nic does. I read people complained of no throat hit with the new nic so he now offers both. You can select which nic you want when you order. Throat hit or smooth.

Thanks clnire. Vash did use the word "smooth".

Yes NotSoMini Vaponaute is well-known and quite popular with french vapers, tobacco used are not NETS, taste them quite long time ago, wasn't my kind of vape but they have very good reviews and aficionados. You should definitely give them a try if you're not afraid by the price...

For EtherVapes, I've told Vash on his thread 4 or 5 days ago, that the 8 juices that I've ordered have no TH at all, it was like vaping with 0mg, he reacted immediately and he is offering now 2 kinds of TH on his liquids, normal TH and no TH (Vaperstek)

So I got my sample order from MVJ, The Balkan, Drew Estate 7th ave and Heirloom cherry. Plus free sample of the cao cigar the the STP line. The Cigar is OK, kinda a dry generic type cigar flavor. Do notice it vapes cleaner than the juice I get from Clay. Like Clays flavor better, though. The STP cigar juice after 4ml, coils look brand new. I am used to seeing a gunky mess every 4-8ml. FWIW, using a Kayfun at 7-10 watts, been using 30awg lately.

Question is what do you recommend for Steep time on the others?

I just started with the first of 10 new ones I got from Diane at the end of December..

That lady will break my wallet!

Owl Shop Mavrodaphne was what I broke into today. Not much about this juice ANYWHERE.. It's description: Like the Greek sweet wine, wonderfully rich. I believe this is the Greek communion wine.

Initial impressions: It would best be described as a Cavendish because Owl Shop probably used a very mild Virginia and cased it with the Greek Wine which is in itself a sweet light wine. The end result a mild, sweet, tobacco vape at one month steep time. I'll steep this for a few more weeks and come back to it.

Anyone else here try it?!

Flavour is directly proportional to gunkiness in my opinion. Lighter flavour, cleaner juice. Stronger flavour, gunkier juice. It speaks to the extraction process.

Personally, I steep my MVJ stock for atleast a month before breaking into them. YMMV!

Vaping it as we speak, although it's in my Billow and not in the Reo... yet.
It is surprisingly milder than I was anticipating. I get the sweet wine aspect but I'm confused on the tobacco. It's there, but it's hard to detect at any solid level.
I like it, and I will probably reorder it to give it plenty of time to develop. It's definitely not a high tobacco impact vape in my opinion, but it's probably like Dusty described... a light, clean juice just doesn't carry the flavor that a "gunker" does.
Maybe it carries the casing better than the tobacco since it's so highly filtered?

The 30 mls I got tasted like dishwater and after 6 weeks it still does.
