What you are calling ( incorrectly, except for yourself ) as gag-inducing... many others love. Don't assume what you like/dislike is the same for everyone.

Legend is described as sweet by most people... but not all NET's are that way and it's a mistake to jump to that assumption since not all tobaccos are that way.

Oh yeah I completely understand that. It's just that I made a huge mistake ordering it instead of one of the others. Absolutely taste is subjective I didn't mean to offend, my bad.

Any suggestions on one that is not sweet?

Also, I have no use for the bottle of Legend. Would anyone want it; say they pay for shipping? I'd hate for a 100ml bottle to go to waste :/

reviews on the site say its sweet, but don't be put off , there a lots of nets out there that are not sweet.
once you find one that gives you that:D :pmoment there will be no going back:evil:
I am sure the super experienced netizens on here will point you in the right direction.
My own experience is mostly DIY and house of liquid.

Yeah I really want to find a good tobacco. I can't stomach the sweet flavors everyone else seems to love, unfortunately. :(

seems most have a sweet tooth when it comes to vaping.
funny thing is i don't really taste sweet with eliquids , did enjoy the odd custard and fruit, but no sweet taste with them.
when it comes to net extracts , some virginias are really sweet! must be natural sugars v synthetic don't know.

I am confident you will find many nets out there you will love.
failing that...diy.

"Everyone" is as much of an exaggeration as "gag-inducing" was... tsk... tsk... some people never learn :D

You may want to mention the type of tobacco you are looking for since there are many types

Legend does get less sweet and the tobacco comes to the fore after a few months, but i suspect that won't do it for you ! Funny thing is, based on how long HHV have been in business and their fan-base and the positive reviews, i wouldn't be surprised if Legend is the single biggest selling NET liquid out there. HHV has a 4 x 3 ml sample pack, why did you order a 100 ml bottle of a liquid you haven't tried yet ?

There are plenty of NETs that are not sweet, but you need to be a little more specific than " not sweet " to get a good recommendation. Do you like smoky, spicy, ashy, nutty .... a combination of those etc ...

Can't taste any NET in Legend even after 5 months of steeping...same with Dragon's Fire, Serendipity or Sludge. It's certainly there but just can't taste it.

Dark Horse, Gaia and Huntsman are my favorites HHV NETs. The tobacco is predominant in the flavor.

The NET is there, i just think you are being overwhelmed by the additional sweet flavor !

Not sure why I ordered the largest bottle available. That was stupid on my part for sure!

Well what I am looking for is a smooth vanilla and nutty. I should just get a sample pack. Where do you guys think would be the best place? I'm not stuck on HHV by any means.

Burley is more generally associated with a nutty taste.

Not a fan of vanilla tobaccos but Vita Bella from Goodejuice is quite popular and more recently Vanilla Skye from Ethervapes has had some fans. Also Coventry and Dover Court from N.E.T.

How long do MVJ need to steep to get good flavors? I have some that I received 4 weeks ago and some still have no flavor at all.

MVJ has a steeped line of juices. You could try one of those in a small bottle to sample flavors. That's what I've been doing. You can't choose your pg/vg ratio though. I believe most of them come in 60/40 ratio. https://www.myvapejuice.com/index.php/cPath/38

It's not going to be much easier for others either...

The nutty portion will be found ( as mentioned ) with a Burley tobacco... there are several varieties. Just straight burley, air cured, sun cured, fire cured and aged. The fire cured will likely be pretty smokey flavored which may cover up some of the flavor notes unless it was used sparingly. So look at the other types in the ones you look at for now.

Turkish and other oriental's may also have a nutty flavor but will also often be fermented making it more earthy or musky as apposed to nutty... still something to not disregard.

A tough one is going to be the vanilla since it's often pared with something sweet like caramel also. The "saving grace" may be that it's also a flavor found in many things... so you may find it anyway.

Cavendish's are not a tobacco but a process used on tobacco's... these are often cased with various flavors including sweet, fruit and other flavors... not all casings are sweet but some certainly are. This is also a likely area to find a vanilla involved with them.

Probably focus on pipe type tobacco's more than ciggy or cigar types... these typically have more than just tobacco flavors alone. You may want to look through the descriptions at MyVapeJuice... Diane there has a lot of pipes which I've only read about... although I don't recall one off the top of my head that matches you request without also having a pretty sweet addition to it.

Both from My Vape Juice
Capital Stairs has a bit of Deer Tongue (a smokable plant) in it. That really sets it off because it adds a nice vanilla flavor without any of the extra aromatic taste or flavors processing. Call it nutty, sweet, with a touch of spice and floral notes. All of that with a vanilla note wrapped through it from beginning to end. Great stuff.

LJ Heart Burley is also a winner. A nice nutty taste with a bright Virginia note and a woody undertone from the black cavendish. It isn't the most complex taste, but it is a great spring blend. I like it on the 60 degree days. It just goes perfectly.

I posted that three pages back. You might want to use the thread search tool to help fond posts that can help you out.

Guys I've had a bottle of Legend from HHV sitting in my cabinet for about a month. My first vape from it was gag-inducing. Do all the NETs have that sickeningly sweet taste?

I'm stuck with a 100ml bottle of it, lol. Big mistake

Check out the first post of this thread for brief descriptions of each NET vendor. As you've discovered HHV specialises in sweet tobacco vapes, "the patisserie of NET vendors." NETs range from completely dry (unsweet) to very sweet, and everything in between. Sample around other A tier vendors. By sample I mean sample, not a 100ml bottle of one juice ;)

My personal favorites are GoodeJuice and RiverBottom. All A tiers worth checking out.

I'll take it for the price of shipping if you're still giving it away. I like me some Legend. I'd prefer Huntsman though, could you buy a 100ml of that and not like it too? [emoji23]

There isn't much nutty NETs. Burley tobacco (a common cigarette and pipe tobacco) is sometimes described as nutty, but it's more of a nutty feel than an obvious nutty flavor. Fabulous & Burley from RBFS is a good vanilla and Burley tobacco. NETcom may have something vanilla and nutty.

Just placed a few orders; one with EV and the other with MVJ. Trying the two new ones Vash has to offer, Bali Nights and Bayou Brew along with one of my favorites, Gold Leaf. Really looking forward to trying the new ones as Bali Nights sounds pretty nice while Bayou Brew is a straight up VA/Per blend.

I also am trying a few new cigars from MVJ; Perdomo Lot 23 (was on special so got the steeped version), 5 Vegas Cask Strength, Diesel, CAO Brazilia, Rocky Patel Edge Sumatra, and Cohiba Red Dot. Ordered most cause the descriptions sounded tasty plus a few had good reviews from some of you's guys.

Now the waiting game begins or as I call it, stalk the post office tracking site which then progresses to stalk the mail lady...LOL
